Hi, I’ve got a problem: I lost the primary keys but I have the second original pair that however doesn’t have working buttons. I tried this putting the secondary keys and pressing the button on the keys but only the “Open” and “Open trunk” buttons work, while the one that closes the car doesn’t
Do you need 1 working key for this to work? i.e If you have one key that for some reason no longer responds to the car can you recode it to your car without a separte working key?
Didn't work for me, no connection on non synced key. It was working but seemed to be getting weak so changed battery, tried a few we had in a packet but might have been old and knackered? Replaced with original now doesn't work at all!
What if you don't have a key fob with Buttons just key itself. I lost the original and got a replacement but did not get the wireless key fob. I'm looking to buy replacement. Is there a way to do it
@@liorzummay i did'nt. I just use my old key fob, and bought a flip key fob in wich you put your old key fob circuit board, it is specific made for ford fiesta key fob circuit board so it will fit perfectly. i could'nt program another key fob to the car using this method.
Hi mate, door needs to be closed. If this doesn't work then there is either a problem with the door switches on the car, the wrong remote frequency or the ignition switch not detecting the key in the ignition. Unlock the vehicle, enter from the driver’s side door and close the door. Fasten the driver’s side seat belt The following instructions will vary based on your vehicle model Ford Focus, Mondeo & Ranger Insert the key into the ignition and turn from the ‘OFF’ to ‘ACC’ position 4 times within 6 seconds - leave the key in the ‘OFF’ position after the final turn. (go to step 4) Ford Fiesta (Up to 2008), Cougar & KA Insert the key into the ignition and turn from the ‘OFF’ to ‘ON’ position 4 times within 6 seconds, leaving the key in the ‘OFF’ position after the final turn. ( go to step 4) Ford Fiesta (From to 2009) Insert the key into the ignition and turn from the ‘ACC’ to ‘ON’ position 4 times within 6 seconds, leaving the key in the ‘OFF’ position after the final turn. (go to step 4) 4. Press and hold any button on the existing remote for 2 seconds - A short beep will sound if successful. Repeat step 4. for all new remotes. Once all the remotes have been programmed, turn the ignition ‘ON’ then ‘OFF’ before removing the key from the ignition

Can you start the ignition with new key fob ? I couldn't
Hi there, this procedure is programming the remote, you need to also code the transponder in the key so that it will start.
what if my old key fob is not working? i would'nt be able to do the last step "press any button on the old key fob"
Did you ever figured it out?
