Ryan, why do you ignore the biggest FACT .. Ivy custom is a manufacturer also.. $8.39 + Free Shipping per shirt doesn't event cover cost for everyone watching your video!!!!!!! If you price at $16, you barely make a couple of dollars per shirt if you are lucky to sell any!! I worked in screen print shop, they get shirts for $1 ea.
I have started doing my research and "spying" on successful stores. 8 of 10 Etsy stores are selling Disney shirts. Everyone say that this is copyright infringement but so many stores are making huge amounts of money this way. Is really difficult to find somebody who really is original and trying to build something long-term.
Etsy was recently called out by an investment analyst for being the worlds biggest seller of counterfeit goods
Their stores will get shutdown at some point. They may escape it for months, even years, but it will happen. Worst case scenario they'll get sued too.
Fun Fact though I just learned, the character Mickey Mouse will enter public domain as of 2024 so give it a year and then you can legitimately join in designs with this.
Not sure what you’re searching for to only find Disney, there are loads of successful shops that don’t infringe on anyone’s intellectual property.
@Marina H your correct but it's actually the old-school 1920s Mickey not the new Mickey. Retro designs with classic Mickey bout to go off the charts tho

I see shops like the one you just checked that are selling their shirts for less than $15 and free shipping. How can a newer POD shop compete with them? seems that they have tons of sales, and it might be because of their prices. Thank-you for this video, very informative. I'm in the process of improving my research skills.

I'm assuming that the number of sales is an estimate, since etsy doesn't give out that information (unless the seller makes it public).
You can see what sales the shops have made on Etsy I forget the exact url but it's something like /sales added to the shop url
