- Hey everybody,
For this tutorial, I will be showing you how to put together a key wristlet/key fob holder.
For this project, you will need
-Faux leather (can be purchased anywhere, Amazon, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joann’s, Etsy, etc)
-Key fob hardware (I purchased mine from Amazon, it came with the tool): www.amazon.com...
-Cutting machine or scissors
-Heatbond if you want to attach faux sheets together
I hope you enjoy this video. Thank you for watching.

Love the heat & bond sheets because I was thinking of sewing the double sided stripes, great info
This was the best step by step video that I have watched so far and I have watched ALOT. Thank you !!!!!
You're welcome
They look so good
I always cut leather face down. Seems to cut easier and clearer.
Love your laugh and your easy going personality! You make videos enjoyable to watch:)
:) Thank you
I always glue the tops together you can't see it once the key fob is in place and it makes it much easier to place the faux leather handle
Thanks for the tutorial & tips.
Thank you for a great tutorial! I can’t wait to try!
Thank you, very useful tutorial
What a great video...I’m excited to try this out. My hubby bought me some faux leather....I love your videos!
Appreciate this video, I’m trying to add these to my list to sell🧵
love your Music - you make it seem so easy- But will try it with out a Cricut- Buy hand- thank you - Palm Springs, Calif-
I love you're videos. One thing I found is when you cut the leather fuzzy side up, you don't have so much fuzz on the mat and it adheres to the mat better.
Thank you! Great vid!
I noticed another lady brushed on a dab of glue on the ends before adding the findings. I just subscribed!
Thank you. I'll try that technique
Hi I love how the key fob look. I just started making them. I didn't like how thin the fux leather was. I am going to try the heat bond to bond two together. Thanks for sharing
You are so welcome!
You can put heat transfer vinyl on the underside also to make it look more finished
Adorable
Great video
Love the tutorial. Do you think if I stitch around it will ruin it?
I would do a test run. But if its good faux leather it should be ok
Thank you 😊
I like to use Super Glue to line up the Faux Leather before clamping it, so that it doesn't move on me.
Love the colors in that faux leather bundle pack! Do you remember, by chance, where you got it?
Amazon. Here is the link. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YS7LV3B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks so much!
Mine has a grove that I lay the fob on to make it easier to close
I also take off the Ring, so that it doesn't get in the way of clamping it shut. Then I replace it after it is clamped.
Good idea. Thanks.
@@mamatosh05 You're quite welcome!
I'm about to order these materials. Adding a new item to my business. Thank you for the tutorial. But what type of heat bond is that?
You're welcome :). This is what it is called. I brought it from Joann's. HeatnBond Ultra Hold Iron-On Adhesive.
I love my Cricut but I find cutting the strips with my paper cutter is better. Cricut waste so much material. Great video though!
Hi! So basically I just move the blade in Housing A to Housing B? I’m just confused if I need to buy a deeper blade
No you would just change the blades, in the same housing area. You could just use your regular blade just select deeper cut.
Ok so I put my hardware in the tool and then press onto the leather
Yup. Make sure you press hard.
How much would you sell these for sis?
I used a new mat and my leather is now sticky. How do I get rid of the stickiness off the leather? I have tried cleaning it with a cleaning wipe didn’t work
Did you try spraying it with some alcohol?
No but I will try that. Thanks
@@jssnoopy125 ok. hopefully it works.
This is off topic but do you sell shirts or svg to the one in video
Yes I sell shirts and SVG's.
@@CraftingMadeEasy Do you have/sell the svg for your shirt
How do I change the rectangle size and length on the mobile app?
You click the edit button with the ruler and pencil and type in the size you want.
