I think people forget that it takes 2 to tango. According to OT law you couldn't stone just one offender for adultery, which is one reason Jesus didn't judge the woman caught in adultery. Where was the man? Likewise, on the day of judgement, the man being judged for committing adultery through lust would be acquitted, except that God will reveal every hidden motive. If a woman doesn't dress in the fear of the Lord Jesus, will she be innocent? If Christian women can dress in whatever they want and it's OK, I can lust as much as I want and it's OK. I wrote this somewhere else but here. The movement of sexual liberation in woman has allowed in their objectification. In a way its their fault, but its also the fault of men who too strictly controlled their woman, pushing them to wanting to be free. There must be a middle ground between freedom from strict control and selling yourself to lust, which we can stand on instead of where we are now. He said look at the people that have hurt you if they where your children or your child a mother will not take offense if her child hurts her she forgives her child and doesn’t hold any I’ll will towards them she will speak to them try to teach them but not hold it against them. I'm going to play the devil's advocate here but I think that he also wants you to want him. Not just think he's someone's son. This is what I find troubling about Christians. While you are correct in your opinion here, he's also going to want you to see him as desirable. You've probably read Song of Songs. That's what I'm talking about. You’re looking at it the wrong way. As a man, it easier to empathize with a woman when we relate it to men. I wrote this somewhere else but here. The movement of sexual liberation in woman has allowed in their objectification. In a way its their fault, but its also the fault of men who too strictly controlled their woman, pushing them to wanting to be free. There must be a middle ground between freedom from strict control and selling yourself to lust, which we can stand on instead of where we are now. If we remain on this path of sexualisation, then lust will excuse the loss of our childrens virginity.

Ask God to give you his eyes for women. You are certainly not exempt from loving women with brotherly love because of what she's wearing. How will immodesty dressed women hear the word or enter into community if every man can excuse himself from serving her?? You must grow into mature manhood so that you can love all your sisters well. Are attractive women somehow excluded from "one another"? Is it not your own desire which leads you away to sin? Strive to love your sisters, not avoid them. I'm going to play the devil's advocate here but I think that he also wants you to want him. Not just think he's someone's son. This is what I find troubling about Christians. While you are correct in your opinion here, he's also going to want you to see him as desirable. You've probably read Song of Songs. That's what I'm talking about. While he's not a piece of meat obviously, he's also seeing you and wanting to be seen as Solomon writes in Song of Songs.

Every woman is a human being worthy of being treated with basic decency. Period. Why is that so many men seemingly only care what men a woman belongs to? She is a human with feelings no matter what.
You’re looking at it the wrong way. As a man, it easier to empathize with a woman when we relate it to men. So, we see her as someone to be protected, and someone to be loved, not as an object of possession. Protection and love are a man’s natural inclinations toward women. It’s about reframing it so it hits home with us.

I actually said that to my daughter-in-law’s father. He’s been married 40 yrs, and often talking about wanting somebody else . I said “Just like you want men to see and respect your daughter because she’s someone’s little girl, so should you see other women the same way. He’s not saved so of course it’s hard for him to understand that, but I just keep interceding for his soul.
When I was younger every time I saw a lady for whom I felt a yearning I'd pray as earnestly as possible for this lady😢 and commit her over to God,to the Lord, and a sense of release, relief would follow..

when i went on the first date with my fiancé, i had the realization that he was still innocent and hadn’t been hurt like i had been (divorced) and that he needed to be protected. i hadn’t decided to start dating him yet, but i saw him in a much more wholesome light than i had seen men in a long time. sadly, he had a falling out with a close friend and experienced the betrayal i wish he’d never have to, but i still see him as a heart worth guarding.
