Although I don't think the tank is completely broken, I don't understand why it needs a 130mm 460alpha gun. It would have been just as good with a 122mm 390alpha gun if you lower the reload by a couple of seconds. We really don't need more alpha dmg creep in the game.
Would only be fair if everything gets a HP buff too but WG ain’t gonna do that

compared with regular tier 8 gun like 300+ dmg/220+ penetration, this 460 dmg/208 penetration combo makes this tank easier to crush lower tiers but less effective in tier 9 or tier 10 battles. I guess this is how WG makes new tanks "specialized"

For you to buy more and more op tanks. High alpha means you can peek, deal tons of damage with one shot and then retreat fast for free

460 alpha is SICK for a tier 8, not to mention 2x in couple seconds...AND since WG trashed the derpguns, there are no more KV-2s or O-Is at tier 6 to even have HOPE to fight back...
There will be sick amount of Top Guns and High Calibers with this cr@p against tier 6 sh!tters...

@@laszlopap8271 After the introduction of the borrasque and this tank, finally they ruined even the tier 8 experience... Imagine how much this tank will be used in frontline... They really don't care about the balancing factor any more they care only of how much money they can milk out of this game

It's the penetration of the premium who is a problem (like the old American T32) so perhaps it will be well balanced between the two T8, I hope so.

Are you trying to say they have more dmg in one shot than their tech tree counter part has in two? First of all, their is no tech tree counterpart to the bourrasque and that statement is incorrect for the Skoda t56. If you are just saying they have higher alpha then i dont see what the problem is, is alpha the only metric for how good a tank is? This comment is just wrong all around.

@@MrNilion the tech tree tank has 640 clip damage with 1.5k dpm the skoda t56 has 920 clip damage with 2k dpm and also has more gun depression and a stronger turret with less weakspots. even the single shot gun on the tech tree counterpart still has less dpm then the insanely strong twoshell of the premium. in fact the two shell autoloader of the premium with its 460 damage per shot also has more dpm then the tier 9 tank of this line which still only gets 440 alpha damage in its two shell autoloader
yeah they've gone from making more balanced tanks to giving them edges so people are incentivized to buy them for clubbing in frontlines/farming credits
In expect to see atleast 4 of these in each battle this month.

I remember when the premium tanks were just a touch worse than the tech tree tanks of its tier. Now tech tree ranks are almost obsolete.
It sure looks like WG is just as worried as we are about games being over faster and faster, when they keep adding burst damage clappers like this into the game. One "mistake", like for example simply driving to the front on certain maps against this tank and also it's big brothers up the tiers, and you can say goodbye to half your HP or at worst even your entire tank. How exactly is that good for the game, WG? Oh right, all you have been caring about for the past 3 years or so is your bank account, while making the game continously worse with each and every patch.. nice! 👍

this thing can one clip most of the Tier 6 tanks in 3,5 seconds, its an utterly joke
Had a game a few days ago, top tier in 6-8 game in my M4A1Revalorise. The two other top tiers on my team were a KV4 and a Kanonenjagdpanzer 105. Neither team had platoons. The enemy top tiers were a GSOR 1008, a Bisonte and a Bourrasque. That was fun…. I have previously posted how easy it would be to code a last pass of the mm algorithm to do a basic skill balance, to lower the 15-5 games but after seeing how things have gone over the last few years, with the introduction of EBRs, and the ridiculous proliferation of autoloaders/autoreloaders etc, it’s obvious that, doing that would be very much not be in their best interests, as it seems WG really do want games to be over as fast as possible. I have friends that play, the main reason I still do, as many of the tanks I played a lot have been rendered pretty redundant by the various changes over the last few years. Crew 2 and the changes testing after that could be the final nail for all of us.

Another disgusting, unbalanced premium tank... And just like with the italian heavies, they gave the tech-tree tank worse armor, worse damage/minute, worse damage and even worse gun depression... Well done WG...

@@peacepham7838 460 alpha is a joke for a tier 8 autoloader... it's armor is way too strong in my oppinion, and the fact that it's basically better in most ways than the tech-tree counterpart... The only thing that really sucks about this tank is the ammo... it really is bad...
@@adamberes1246 In my opinion it's just a less armour 703 II, cause the speed and burst dmg is the same. I have problem facing 703 hulldown, but this one got a clear weak point. But let's see how things going on battle.
@@peacepham7838 If RNG favours this tank it will whack you for 460+25% (575) with a single shot and just go back hulldown or hide if things are too dicy. Otherwise it will delete 70% to 100% of a tanks HP with one clip. Dont forget that 1500 HP is high on average for a random tier 8 (and mostly reserved for heavies) and this tank can delete +-1000 of that in less than 4 seconds ... that is damn ludicrous. And that with a reload of 25 seconds I believe it was.
If you'd look at Bisonte or T77 they are far more fragile really (the armor on Bisonte is not what its cracked up to be) and they have either much longer reload of their clip or their burst is too long. A Bisonte or T77 will also be more prone to miss and thus that 1080 damage is also far less intesting. This Skoda however with that insane alpha ... different story, but you'll see when you log on, I've already my fare share and I can tell you this tank is once again BS on the level of borat, Prog46, 703 II and defender. --> NOT good for the game.
Also: Its basically a Obj 703 II level tank with aroundabout similar armor on its turret. The weakspot cupola is pretty much the same as 703 II's cheecks.
Great to see that - once again - the Premium tank has the overpowered features the tech tree tank is lacking.. Same story as EBR/Lynx etc.

@@ryokajimosensei2780 I have no idea, at tier VIII its around 100-110 premiums to 53-54 standard, basically double. if we are talking all of the tanks combined, there are more standard tanks, simply because wargaming havent yet released any tier IX and X premiums, sort of, we have OP reward tanks which are given to the best players, which coincidentally also usually throw money in the game.

The fact that you go into engagements with the clip which boosts the effective dpm, having an already high base dpm is going to be nuts

A 2 shot auto loader with high alpha per shot is the optimal set up. It’s super fast to unload your entire clip and you don’t need to worry about hitting and penning 3 or 4 shells in order to get your full clip alpha.

Hmm, a Bourrasque with higher Alpha and armour, just what the game needed.
Mobility is really sluggish and standard ammo penetration is pathetic when facing other hevs or higher tier enemies. I feel T56 much less flexible than other premium VIII Heavies like Defender, Bisonte or IS-3A. Bourrasque or Škoda T27 are better purchases in my opinion.

@@MakMak02 Theres a reason why KV becomes KV-1 and KV-2.
Back then KV uses 155 gun in tier 5. Then come KV-1S (the tier 5 version with 122mm). Guess what they got removed too.
WG pointed out the issue for both were the alpha. Its too high for its tier. Don't u think bursting more than 75% HP of ur tank is broken? That is of course if u are lucky driving the same tier against this vehicle.

Quicky, THANKS FOR THIS! I bought it, in the first game with this I dealt 4.7k dmg (my new record before Gonsalo 4.4k) and earned 130k credits!

So I did an experiment the last two days, I tracked every pen I received from a Skoda T 56 and the damage received. Regular rounds 32 hits, average dam 507.5. Gold rounds, 23 hits, average dam 511. Nice boost to the "RNG" for the new tank to absolutely crush the battlefield to sell more of them. Then afterwards the "RNG" will be nerfed down to "normal". Very similar to what they did to the SU130 pm's accuracy. Was pin point accurate and now sprays all over the circle as they are not selling it.
I understand wanting to make money but the hidden changes that they do for greed, just make me sick.
They did the Accuracy nerf to the Tier 8 Skorpion as well, dead on target all the way in and it shoots all around the circle but the center.
Imo the Italian heavies were a perfect addition to the game. Some good, some not great but usable, none op. Not everything introduced into the game needs to be a meta S+ tier tank. Now we have a double tap chieftain, ty wg
Duder agreed, I ground them out, and the rhino isnt amazing, but it can be fun . The t8 and t9 aren't op, but are good tanks and can be fun. This seems a little op.
Definitely not a double tap chieftain. Lacks the turret armor, gun depression, accuracy, dpm, and mobility to do that, but it does have that very strong clip. I don't think its Overpowered per-say(although definitely close), but the 460 damage is still just really not needed. Outside of the T56 though, the other Czech HTs are pretty average, some a bit better, some a bit worse, but none that are terrible or terribly OP.
Jdjsje Jsjejwnw I was talking about the tier 10, and yes the tier 10 is 100% op. Mobility like a 277, good armor, 8 degrees depression, 980 damage in 2 seconds.
The 277 is already one of the best tanks in the game, and the vz does everything it does but has more gun depression with an auto loader
@@MirrorsMercury Idk if you have actually played the thing, but its mobility is nowhere near the 277. 5kph slower, with worse power to weight, and importantly worse ground resistance, which means that on medium/soft terrain you won't even make it to 50. Also 277 maintain a low profile and stronger turret design, which let's it get quickly into a position and then hunker down. The VZ on the other hand is quite tall and has a turret with multiple weakspots that won't hold up against persistent fire. It's meant to quickly poke and unleash its powerful clip, but not much more than that. 277 also has the advantage of better ammo selection and a decent Upper plate that actually bounces stuff, as opposed to the VZ which will be buttered by pramo unless angled. So yeah, it has its strengths, but it's not a double tap chief and not a flat out better 277(if it was clans would have already replaced it, yet so far no one is running them in skirms).
920dmg in 3.5s is more than a lot of tier 10s can do...

Best Tier 8 comparison IMO is the Obj 703 122. Really enjoying the T56 so far.

Good vid, QB. Just one thing to remember (we mentioned this on twitch recently) :
IRM and VSTAB (and any modification on dispersion) is multiplicative rather then additive.
At least this is what is mentioned ingame in the green bonus stats description on the right if ur tank is given at least two bonusses for dispersion (like IRM + VSTAB).

@@tupactheory3739 It's certainly that way, because that's how math works. Take 20% off 100 and you have 80, take 10% off 80 and you have 72. So double stacking Stabs and IRM reduced dispersion by 28% rather than the 30% advertised. It's called the cumulative law.
Exactly, and that's why Improved Aiming is better to stack with Stabiliser and IRM.
not all of us has full crew training' not all of us have bond equipment ( special ) so the stats for normal players would not Add up to yours.
Dont know if anyone noticed but dont forget about that second slot it can get on lvl 6 field modifications, I think It has one for dmg or you can choose the movement one and then it has 40kmh speed and 10% more engine power.
Hopefully Im not mistaken, it has for 100% that one slot for dmg but Im not so sure on the other one.

in blitz wg patched the goldspam by 15% reduction on damage of gold rounds except for those that deal better damage but less pen(HESH, APHE and so on).
people cried about how it will ruin tanks that relies stupid on gold rounds, something like the soviet series premiums(IS-6 and others that have 175mm pen on tier 8 heavy lines) will be dead.
it actually helped to create a better fighting enviornment, imo
even if you get spammed gold whilst you're in a heavy tank, you know you're less vurnerable if you can trade with the enemy a silver round cause using gold HAS a penalty, thus you can win the 1v1 fight if you can all pen with silver, etc and so on- Gold spamming is lessened and many tanks benefitted, and those low pen premiums either got new guns or got replaced to a better gun that has 221 pen, and so on.
i feel like wg should've done this to the pc version as well, but it seems its too late for that...

Gold is an issue, but with the existence of tanks that you literally have to shoot gold at just to pen them, it's just not possible to only reduce the damage on gold ammo. Again, if you'd watched chems' video, you would've known better. Chems might be a dick, but his video is the best in class.
@@n10tkey1 The argument its impossible to balance gold rounds because OP tanks is jut utter BS, its all pixel data and all WG needs to do is nerf those freaking things so they are balanced again. This idiotic statement that they wont is whats running this game into the ground with a slow but methodical precision. And I dont care about wether Claus is bad at the game, in case you hadn't noticed the vast majority isn't a unicum and thus the issues are more severe for the largest amount of players.
I know I'm gonna make an unpopular statement here but in between RNG swinging left and right I find it very difficult to determine what "being good" in this game even means anymore. And as much as someone may want to not believe it, its ultimately a diceroll that either favours you or not, and the biggest issue is that the results of RNG are padded out over many games, but in each individual match, when being dependend on chance --> not a good concept for a game liek this in my opinion, not to mention where it factors into. Another unpopular opinion perhaps: but gold round are just to "make more sure" you can hit something where the chance was (much) lower originally. but if I would carefully aim and the thing went more or less where I direct it to, I don't need gold.
same thing with the BS OP clusterfuck tanks, give them weakspots, nerf their armor in certain locations or give them an actual drawback that matters, then normal rounds will work just as well.
I'm off on a bit of a tangient, so sorry for that. but it frustrates me to hell that for some reason or other people keep saying it cant be done, becasue reasons ...
If anything, they CAN ... they just won't, and its destroying a game I want to keep loving to play, have invested many hours into and they are killing like Joker would Batman.
And ultimately, my point is that it would be a good idea in principle, the issue is its not JUST the gold rounds that need to be fixed and this point. Also the tanks that were faultly balanced around them, or the MM that puts tanks which are 2 classes above and have stats that are rediculous to the lowest possible treebranch, and bring weakspots back etcetectec ... you get the point I'm sure.

It has boggled my mind and eyes how often I saw all these new Czech heavies on the field. fully decked (I think) T8 prems, some T8 techtree, also in the tier 9s and 10s many TNH's or Vz ... damn people must've pulle wallets like a bitch.

The tier X and tier IX are a lot of fun. Happy to see some strong tech tree tanks after the.......not so great Rino line (Tier IX aint too bad tho)
This isn't a tech tree tank though, this is the premium.
@@Handles-Suck-UA-cam did I say it was? I'm talking about the introduction of the czech heavies in general. This will be the preferred tier 8 czech heavy to use along with the tier 9 and 10. All 3 seem to be good tanks.
This tank is really op, just compare it to a 50tp prototype
It has simmilar dpm, bigger alfa, a clip, simmilar speed (or even better if you use turbo on it), better pen with gold, good armor, better gun handling, and the sad thing is that the 50tp prototype is a really good tank. Another typical op tier 8 prem. Jusst what we needed.
50tp prt has no cupola (its pixel) and it actually has some hullarmor, and obviously better pen
@@prozac5314 I disagree, the 50tp has a lot of weak spots, even on the upper plate, and can be easily penned with good aim in a lot of situations where the skoda is unpenable. And the pen is only better on the normal rounds but the skoda has better premium pen so it is better in that case too. But these are not the main points. The main thing is that the skoda has better alfa and a clip without losing any dpm or lacking in any aspect (apart from 10m view range which is not relevant because it is a heavy).

im am an avarage player but with first 3 battles on that tank i have almost 4k dmg per battle. 3 wins, 3 times not destroyed or even damaged that much. DMG is so easy to make. And already ive got "M" on it. It's simply OP. If this tank will not be nerfed.... it has to be nerfed. And im saying this as owner of T 56.

Think you may have made a slight mistake when you overextended and got ambushed in the trenches. Being aware of that mini map and seeing who was spotted you can assume they're waiting to ambush flankers.

Weirdly enough, the gun on the skoda doesnt have the right sound. It should be the same as IS-7s gun, which is also 130mm.

460 alpha (920 as doublepack) ... is the death for t6 and t7 ... yeah, there are enough other tanks on T8 with high alpha, but not with that punch.

After playing this tank a bit, the worst part about it is how horribly inconsistent the gun is sometimes. Seriously, it sucks ALOT when some battles you just can't hit anything because the gun isn't working.
I'm saying this with BIA, Both the gun handling skills, Vert stabs, food, Firepower slot on the Vert stabs, field mod aiming circle upgrade.
This gun is horribly inconsistent.
Because of this gun's problems, I tend to get worse stats in this tank than most of my other tier 8 prem heavies
I'm gonna be painfully honest, this tank when played over many games is gonna hurt to play for players who like some form of consistency in their guns. You are absolutely rolling dice in this tank.
Used to be the premium tanks where not as good as the line tech. tree. Doesn't seem that way any more with the newer autoloading premium tanks.
