- Went back to the Cowlitz to fish for steelhead. We hooked into a couple fish. Come check out the experience we had this day.

Ya I hit it this last Saturday, didn't touch a thing , it's bit early 2 more weeks and it turn on
We just got done fishing at the point. Seen 5 hooked 4 landed.

Its just too early for the blue creek. It should pick up later this month, I did pretty good last March. Way to grind tho! I was fishing Willapa river in January got 1 steelie out of 9 trips =(
I have seen fish got every time I go down there. That's why i keep going. Could be a good sign for the future months.
Just a matter of time & should be more fish in that system as the month goes.... I'm like outside of Monroe & fished up in Gold Bar... Wallace & Sky

Are you casting to the other side of the river and fishing that Seam or fishing the seam closest to you?
I hit all the seams. I'm trying to find the fish and what path they are taking or what snag they are hanging behind.
