Long story short: - Don't progress Salvatore or Donald love's missions until every other mission is done as the others will disappear. (Asuka's missions will take a pause break at one point so don't be alarmed if you can't finish the missions for her as they will come back later) - Do phone missions first as there is one that can glitch out if you leave it to last - DO PARAMEDIC MISSION AS SOON AS YOU GET FREE ROAM! - Also highly advised you do the other vehicle missions: vigilante and firetruck (20 for each island) as soon as you start each island as gang activity increases with story progression. Mafia can sometimes two shot your car with a shotgun as your passing by them. Perhaps the taxi fares as well. - Same goes for the 20 rampages. Do these first on each island as story progression can make these harder - If you only want to do 1 playthrough for the platinum be aware there are 4 mission specific trophies (not required for 100%) that all take place early on in the game at portland. Very easy to do but they require to play the mission in a certain way like don't damage a vehicle or don't let x person die etc. - Lastly if your at 94% at the end of game its likely that you just have to go take a peek at the import/export location and see all the icons for buying the vehicles which will put you to 100% as it confirms you've exported all the vehciles. Anything else in the game can be done whenever without too much frustration (jumps, packages, import/export, offroad and rc missions) but I'd suggest just knocking out everything on each island before going forward with the story.
Just finished the damn paramedic mission, what a relief knowing that the hardest part of going for 100% is over with... and thank god you only have to do it once. If you had to do it on every island I wouldn’t go for 100% lol
@@rs82302 It’s the still the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do in any GTA game. What helped me a lot was looking at the map everytime I dropped off a group so that I knew exactly where to go for the next group of 3
For GTA 3 as soon you get done with the 1st mission, go do the firefighter, ambulance, taxi and police missions, then do all portland rampages, after that get all jumps from portland done, then complete as much of the list of the import export and the other for the emergency vehicles, get all the hidden packages you can get, and do all vehicle missions you can do in portland, rc etc.., and then you can do the missions to progress and as soon you unlock the 2nd island do the same steps, to complete the game, the phone missions are better to do as soon they are unlocked, the firefighter and police missions are to be done in each island, 20 criminals/fires per island, ambulance and taxi are only one time, but on the ambulance you get infinite sprint, and the taxi you can get a lot of money early on, im playing the OG ps2 version, just for fun lol, going to play the trilogy and the other two extra games, just to relive those awsome missions
Hi I missed planned ahead the mission where you bomb the the fat man can I just replay the game for that mission trophy to pop or does it count towards the 100 percent
The tragic part about it is that I got 71 out of 73 missions and 98% complete so I missed the missions probably from Joey and Luigi damn and all that time just wasted. I am super infuriated by it.
I never knew it was possible to miss main missions, making it impossible to achieve 100% completion. I thought Saint Marks becoming pretty much inaccessible after Sayonara Salvatore was bad enough when you’ve missed Hidden Packages and Rampages or you haven’t completed the Paramedic Missions before then. You need a lot of knowledge with GTA 3 if you want to 100% it. I knew about everything except the possibility of missing missions but getting 100% was still a breeze.
Before I started my playthrough, I checked the missable missions and trophies. Little did I know that some of the "unmissable" missions are almost impossible to complete (but technically still possible) after a while. Paramedic, firetruck and vigilante missions are a hell to complete when gangs all go berserk on you.
Its pretty dumb they dont let you go back after to get those unintentionally skipped missions.. they easily could have built that into the definitive edition
Useful tip: when I was still on the first island I ended up doing the 30 diablos first location and got confused when I didn’t get 100% turns out after I did everything with saving multiple times, I sure enough found the Diablo rampage at the second spawn location which was odd… if you’re absolutely positive that you did everything, check your rampage locations. Especially the second spawn locations.
every single dev who made these should be forced to get a platinum. on a console, with a controller and no guides. and don't let them leave until they do.
GTA 3 is the hardest GTA game for all the wrong reasons: • Claude’s maximum health and armor is limited to 100% and completing Paramedic and Vigilante missions won’t increase his health and armor up to 150%. • Some storyline missions became missable after completing Last Requests for Salvatore Leone and Waka-Gashira Wipeout for Donald Love. • All gang members (excluding Yakuza and Southside Hoods) became hostile to Claude as the game progresses. Especially the Leones and the Colombian Cartel as one of the most dangerous gangs in Liberty City. In other words, all gang members want Claude dead.
I really don't know if anyone is going to see this but i'm in desperate help I'm at 99% completed. All quests done ( 73 out of 73 ) ALl Stunt jump, rampages, hidden packeges. And i can't find what's the 1%. Anyone can help? PS5

Same, I’m currently working on completing 100% of GTA 5 I already finished all the story missions including Lester’s 5 assassination missions. Now I’m working on doing the side missions which are sometimes pretty complicated, but once you do them a certain amount of times you’ll realize it isn’t so bad to complete
Make sure you complete all Leone's mission before Salvatore last mission and complete Asuka and Kenji mission before Donald Love last mission. Doing that and you should be fine.

My game is glitched. I have 100% everything done but haven’t gotten the 100% trophy. That’s total crap. I don’t have the energy to go through all this again. I even paused to check my stats and it indeed says I have the game 100% done. I’m not doing all that again. I’m just going to have to accept my fate.

Next try checking the Rampage on Staunton island, the one that involves blowing up yardies with grenades. I had done everything but stuck on 99% went to Staunton island and saw some rampages I had already done.

I'm stuck at 95%. I did every mission, collected every package and did every randalls missions. The thing is: I even completed El Burros missions and can see the magazines in front of the safe house but the is must be glitched or somethung because the Blue telephone blimp is still there. If I start the mission, it begins with Turismo again. After completing it again, and going back, I'll have to do the missions Turismo again the third time.... What shall I do?
For those stuck at 95%: If your confident you didn't miss a single mission and completed everything. Go back to the Portland docks where you delivered the emergency vehicles. I went back in a cop car for the record (dont think you need to) and the final 5% was finally added. Giving me 100% and the platinum.

See allot of people saying do Paramedic missions first thing, dont, do them at the start of the second island. Portland is a difficult place to do them on
You still could complete it at the start of the game if you want. Search for a glitch that allows to reach any island at the very beginning of the game. You even would be able to make a save on a new island.
You probably didn’t do all the story missions and side missions in order, cause usually when people do them out of order it’s harder to complete 100% of a GTA game.

I also was stuck at 99%. Everything done 100% sure, no doubt. What i did: On the 3 island, i didnt have all 20 Vigilante mission. I did about 3 missions and got the trophy. Maybe you need to do the same or on another island. Also try firefighter too. Maybe you are missing on both Vigilante and Firefighter some missions. You need to have 20 on each island for both of them to count.
About the “Is That All You’ve Got?” Trophy, I missed a couple trophies when I finished the storyline so I started a new game. I missed the “Got This Figured Out” , “Planned Ahead” & “Fare Game” trophies. I got the first two and then the “unlock all the achievements” popped up even tho I haven’t done the “Fare Game” one. Idk if it’s a bug or something lol
@@_Ansl__ Rip i got to level 9 and had over 30 seconds to spare and then my patient just decided to not get in my ambulance. Making the mission completely unbeatable. Crashes and glitches like this are so frequent on this version of the game it makes missions like this feel absolutely impossible for the average gamer. I have 24 hours in this game with 3% cause it was already impossible to do the ambulance mission after the second area and I had to restart. Doesn't feel much more possible at the beginning. The only thing I don't have to worry about now is gang members 2 shotting me with their ridiculously powerful shotguns.

Can someone please help? I done a play through and missed a few missions due to doing in the wrong order. I always have the furious first responder trophy and all trophies related to the vigilante fire truck and ambulance missions. I have done all emergency missions all rampage missions all pay phone missions all taxi fares all story missions and 1 off road mission and it says 67/73 it should be 68/73 50 story 17 paypjone and 1 off road.... I followed the game by the books never missed anything but clearly I have unless something has glitched does anyone else have this problem I'd hate to start over
I think the 73 missions (as shown in the Stats menu) are 48 Story missions (Starting with Luigi's Girls and excluding Ransom), + 17 payphone, + 4 Off Road (1 in Portland, 2 Staunton, and 1 Shoreside Vale), + 4 RC Toys (2 in Portland, 1 Staunton, 1 Shoreside Vale).
So if I understand right. Example: There is J and S if I complete the last S mission I can t complete the J mission? My last mission in 1st island was the S

Yes, but it will be very difficult to get to the car crusher as you've to drive through saint marks. Or you can drive right round past Saint Marks through Hepburn and Harwood.

The term ‘Worse reward’ implies there actually is a reward for 100%ing GTA iii.
I Don't know why players expect "reward" for 100%...i just did it for staisfaction and it's a great feeling.

@@brycerplayer1485 I found out what I was missing. It was one of the off-road missions. There’s 4 in total and they don’t show up in stats until you finish them.

See allot of people saying do Paramedic missions first thing, dont, do them at the start of the second island. Portland is a difficult place to do them on
I did 100 passenger drop off and counted as 1 percent is that an alternative to the 12 level one?
You still could complete it at the start of the game if you want. Search for a glitch that allows to reach any island at the very beginning of the game. You even would be able to make a save on a new island.

You probably didn’t do all the story missions and side missions in order, cause usually when people do them out of order it’s harder to complete 100% of a GTA game.

What i did:
On the 3 island, i didnt have all 20 Vigilante mission. I did about 3 missions and got the trophy. Maybe you need to do the same or on another island. Also try firefighter too. Maybe you are missing on both Vigilante and Firefighter some missions. You need to have 20 on each island for both of them to count.

About the “Is That All You’ve Got?” Trophy, I missed a couple trophies when I finished the storyline so I started a new game. I missed the “Got This Figured Out” , “Planned Ahead” & “Fare Game” trophies. I got the first two and then the “unlock all the achievements” popped up even tho I haven’t done the “Fare Game” one. Idk if it’s a bug or something lol

I ain't trying to complete the Paramedic ever again. Was at level 12 and had to pick only 2 person at the end. And then........it crashed..
@@_Ansl__ on pc i had no crashes weird. i 100% all gta games and got all achivements only didnt get all on 5 since online achivements
@@_Ansl__ Rip i got to level 9 and had over 30 seconds to spare and then my patient just decided to not get in my ambulance. Making the mission completely unbeatable. Crashes and glitches like this are so frequent on this version of the game it makes missions like this feel absolutely impossible for the average gamer. I have 24 hours in this game with 3% cause it was already impossible to do the ambulance mission after the second area and I had to restart. Doesn't feel much more possible at the beginning. The only thing I don't have to worry about now is gang members 2 shotting me with their ridiculously powerful shotguns.

That’s what I do with every gta game I play, I currently just finished all the story missions of grand theft auto 5 now I’m working towards the side missions. I’m planning on doing that with GTA 3, vice city, GTA San Andreas and more!

Can someone please help? I done a play through and missed a few missions due to doing in the wrong order. I always have the furious first responder trophy and all trophies related to the vigilante fire truck and ambulance missions. To achieve 100% completion do I still need to do them in my second play through for 100%? Thank you in advance anyone

I have done all emergency missions all rampage missions all pay phone missions all taxi fares all story missions and 1 off road mission and it says 67/73 it should be 68/73 50 story 17 paypjone and 1 off road.... I followed the game by the books never missed anything but clearly I have unless something has glitched does anyone else have this problem I'd hate to start over
I think the 73 missions (as shown in the Stats menu) are 48 Story missions (Starting with Luigi's Girls and excluding Ransom), + 17 payphone, + 4 Off Road (1 in Portland, 2 Staunton, and 1 Shoreside Vale), + 4 RC Toys (2 in Portland, 1 Staunton, 1 Shoreside Vale).

Once you missed a story mission that's it. You can't get 100 % completion unless you load back to previous save file before the mission was disabled

You have to fully complete the game at 100% on the same save, but I am pretty sure you can get all trophies on seperate saves

Yes, but it will be very difficult to get to the car crusher as you've to drive through saint marks. Or you can drive right round past Saint Marks through Hepburn and Harwood.

No. Only firefighter and vigilante need to be 20 on each island. Paramedic you need to finish level 12 on just one island.
