    Have you used TotalMix before? What do you think about it?

    Many thanks for this video. Finally a good explanation about the Great and Stable TotalMix. All the best for your work!

      @@ThePlanarchist yes if you don’t need any changes than you can just leave it once setup. Maybe even the defaults will work for you.

    Great video thanks. When I got my Babyface Pro FS it was like having a new studio. Everything sounded so good. And for guitar recording it is so good. I use bottom shortcuts every day. A for headphone/vocal recording. B for monitors only. And Dim for open up Totalmix. I wasn't a Totalmix fan when I started strugling to figure it out. However today I can't imagine working in the studio without.

    Thanks for the video. When my current interface dies I'll probably move to RME and will have to get my head around Totalmix so this will be very useful.

      It's a great brand of audio interfaces that I've been using trouble free for over 20 years now. So highly recommended. And with these TotalMix basics, you should be set!

    Good job, very well explained. since your Totalmix does not have FX could be the perfect oportunity to use something like Waves Super Rack performer. I´d love to see the integration between the two softwares in terms of latency.

    Thanks for the video. Just wish you would have done it a month sooner! 😂 I started pushing beyond basic recording TotalMix use when I began mastering some songs with WL and analog gear and reference trax. Banged my head against the wall for a while but finally got it working to my liking. It has given new life to an old Tascam 2516 board.

    Ho un UCX 2 RME uso Luna come DAW ma c'è un problema con il buffer se registro audio con un buffer alto la registrazione è fuori tempo inoltre il valore del buffer non può essere modificato dalla DAW... dipende da il mio RME o dal daw?

    • @LanewoodStudios
      @LanewoodStudios  14 днів тому

      I have no experience with Luna I'm afraid, but the DAW should be able to correct any latency in the recorded part. However, If you're buffer is really high, you may not be able to play virtual instruments properly due to the latency. You basically hear and feel a delay when you're trying to play to the track.

    • @enricopellegrino6122
      @enricopellegrino6122 14 днів тому

      @@LanewoodStudios in fact the strange thing is that the problem is with audio tracks, I wasn't referring to virtual instruments, latency is normal there but recording an audio track that goes out of time is not normal

    would i be able to use totalmix to route tracks from a mpc and record it straight to the DAW ???

    Does TotalMix work with Voicemeeter? Can either replace each other or can I use both?

    • @LanewoodStudios

    didnt understand the free monitoring latency, i still cant hear myself in realtime even when the Fader is up, only if i change buffer size
    what im doing wrong?

    • @LanewoodStudios
      @LanewoodStudios  4 дні тому

      @@kingbo7399 not sure what you’re doing wrong. In the setup I show you basically send whatever is coming n straight to your output without going through the DAW. So buffer size should not matter.
