They’re just saying it makes a noticeable difference given his design is meant for characters like her. You don’t need Jiao to use Acheron, you don’t need Black Swan to use Kafka, or Robin to use Feixiao, etc. It makes things easier and smoother, but they still work. The same here with Sunday.
Rather part of that came down to using huo huo a sustain very few people have.. .so removing huo huo who provides what was it 20% energy regen or something on her ult is a bit unfair to compare with as she's the other main energy regen unit used outside of sunday. So you remove her and attempt ghallger on qpq without sunday and you're cooked..
@@Sidabundai2 I'm not...that patch had two must get units. Sunday for remembrance path and Fugue to replace HMC on break teams so you can use RMC. I know I tried my best to get both but I lost my 50/50 on Sunday and Fugue became priority bc Sunday is most likely will returned before Fugue.

As someone who stopped playing after Kafka/Blade, I just came back and I just don't have so many recent units especially the Harmony ones. Ruan Mei, Sunday, Robin....even Huohuo but I absolutely love Aglaea....I just have to bite the bullet and let her go and pull for the necessities first T_T. I've recently added Fugue and Lingsha. But unable to clear Moc 12 and the last stage of apoc
You can still use Tingyun as a battery for Aglaea with her ultimate. It's not AS effective as Houhou, but still helps. If you have the jade from catching up on story and adventure missions, you can try to go for Aglaea's first eidolon which seriously helps with her energy gain as it gives her and her garmentmaker more every on every attack. You really don't need her signature lightcone to make her work, and the 3 star Remembrance cone is good on her, so gunning for that eidolon is a better use of jade.
Im definitely pulling. After the tragedy that is 295 pulls for E0S1 Sunday, I am desperately coping for a summon dps. Will be skipping the rest until Fate collab tho.

Everyone else is up in the air since we don't have any info of them right now.
Ideally, this will be my team if I get Aglaea because I don't have Sunday but then it won't work out because that would mean that Aglaea and Herta will have to share a teammate, RMC and Robin are good for both of them. Yeah, I'm still skipping Aglaea cuz I need Sunday.

Managed a 1 cycle with my E0 Rappa team on the same fight, though I'm pretty sure you could have managed a 0 cycle here. It would have been an easy 0 with Sunday. Aglaea is looking to be a very strong unit, especially if you have her premium partners.

@@9Tailsfan Yeah, I even went and gave him a decent build (I followed the guides) but I found him very hard to play with. Bosses easily one shot my squishy DPS, so I always end up replacing him with a 5* sustain.
I don't have huo huo and have a well built Acheron so I'm probably skipping. She's going to be monstrous with the right team but that energy hunger is outrageous.

Hou hou is quite... irreplaceable, she's the only sustain that give energy. And you also don't have sunday. Honestly using aglaea without both will be extremely challenging, your gonna run into a lot of energy issues. However there's a chance hou hou will rerun in 3.1, and Sunday will almost definitely come in 3.2 and obviously robin 3.0.

Ironically the same team I was using with Aglaea.. sometimes I feel really creative coming up with teams. But maybe having similar teams to others means I actually understand the game more than I give myself credit for For the 3.0 roster, I'm mostly excited for the MEN ™ but also Castorice (dragon summon???). Literally unless someone else really blows me away or we get surprise non Amphoreus characters, I only want them...
i am using vonwac cuzz i had those lying around for my RMC... but i feel like i might be better off using Lushaka for my The Herta team. She doesn't NEED mem to go first it feels especially since RMC is already the second fastest in the team (aside from my sustain) Heck i can then place vonwac on my Serval who desperately needs a speed boost... is this a good idea?
Hello! I had a question about HuoHuo’s lightcone. I actually have HuoHuo’s signature lightcone, but I’ve not seen somebody using it on her in Aglaea teams yet. Are people avoiding it in order to be more FTP friendly, or is it legitimately worse on her than Shared Feeling? Thank you very much, and I appreciate the in-depth showcases! They are very well-made and helpful.
They didn't use Huohuo LC because Aglaea needs a lot of energy for her ult.So, Huohuo LC might be good for the sustainability of the team.But we know that Aglaea has a lot of energy (350 energy).So, people using other lc that can help Aglaea such as Shared feeling because it can give some energy regen or maybe quid pro quo(If you are using Gallagher because Gallagher has a lot of Advance forward) That's my perspective and my opinion.

Im in a bit of a dilema. I rly want to pull for her because I've been itching for a new dps (I've been running Ratio since he came out) and I love her character and kit. But i do not have Sunday or HuoHuo. I do, however, have Robin fully built. I was planning on putting a team of Robin, Aglaea, RMC, and some sustain (I want to use Aventurine, cuz i love his kit soo much, but ive heard that he is ass for Aglaea so I may run Gallagher). I'm f2p, but I have a bunch or jades saved up. Enough to possible E1 Aglaea and S1 Robin. Plus, my Aventurine is fully built. Do yall think that E1 Aglaea with Robin and RMC is enough? Would running a fully built Aventurine with this be an awful choice?

I remember there being so many people who didnt want to pull Sunday for various (a big one being only wanting Waifus) which is fine, but they were being weirdly obnoxious about characters like Aglaea not needing Sunday at all, and how people who pulled Sunday were coping due to “wasting pulls on a trash unnecessary character”. And now with early access here, immediately, everyone’s like “yeahhhhh you REALLY want Sunday” lol.
Since I got THerta I will sadly skip her … trying to get the LC of Herta to reach her Crit Rate. If I wont I will keep my Jades for Tribbie and than Castorice or Anaxa if he will Pivot for THerta

uhh reality is there is no replacement.. for full free to play options you're looking at ghallger on QpQ and tingyun with DDD...But without e1 with that you're going to suffer and even then its worse than huo huo by herself since huo huo provides aglaea 70 energy due to how huo huos energy works its 20% of their max energy. Tingyun on ult will provide 50 energy and ghallger per turn with it maxed can provide another 16, but its random and only if you energy is less than 50%...
Aglaea's E1 is the replacement, lol. Seems like you either must have both Sunday and Huohuo or one of them plus E1, and if you don't, then you just suffer, i guess.
Hmm energy issues showing up even in the MoC that gives you 20 energy per turn isn't a great sign. She'll definitely be fine with both Sunday and Huo Huo in the long run but her performance without sufficient energy is going to feel really lacking I think.

Following that mydei is already using sunday as well... among so many other characters and castorice also needs sunday which doesn't help aglaea, rather she was sidelined.. hence why she was never brought back to her v1 in beta testing the nerf they did was too much so she was brought back up but she's about 10-20% weaker than her v1 I don't know the exact numbers. Also looking at later content she sort of gets shafted.. the next moc bosses neither have lightning weakness but people have shown she can brute force through it with well her top team and gear, so she's clearly useable.
She's pretty but she seems like a sidegrade to acheron / kafka who already have perfect teams, and I don't have Sunday. So skipping (mostly because I went broke for The Herta).

mydei will use sunday or sparkle and then with his buffs currently he's actually really good so long as you don't mind the fact you have no control over him... also his e2 is a big deal because hes normally blast but his e2 makes him aoe instead.
Huohuo on ult provides aglaea I think 70 energy so its actually a pretty big deal, sunday does the same thing its 20% of their max energy so either way fits the role with energy especially if you have aglaeas e1. However the othe reason she did well was robin being used.. sort of a big deal for the action advance ontop of rmc action advance which helps her a lot.. if you didn't have robin which she's coming again with aglaea so ... try to pull robin if possible because robin is just a big deal support in general and she's had other reruns so I mean I think its fair to say that most people should have robin after the second half of 3.0.

huo huo is enough for aglaea espeically if aglaea has her e1 assuming you have good relics and ornaments like shes using in the video.. aglaea is a high cost unit secondly that would mean you're skipping castorice becuase there's not a replacement for castorice supports.. The comparison would've been better if you didn't use huo huo a sustain most players won't have and the fact huo huo ultimate provides 20% of a characters max energy to their energy so you sort of cheated using that... If you had to use ghallger on QpQ or another sustain and didn't have sunday she wouldn't be playable, the same if you use someone like tingyun plus ghallger on qpq and its still less than what huo huo can provide on her own.. due to the random nature of qpq and the act that tingyun is just a flat 50 energy huo huo provides 70 for her if I recall. So yes she can do ok so long as you have huo huo, and especially e1 with that.
The video is just meant to show a run without Sunday, not a run without Sunday and Huohuo. There will be very noticeable performance differences without both, as you will be lacking the energy Aglaea wants. I purposely didn’t do the energy MoC, and used the trotter MoC, as the energy one would make the large amount of energy she requires less apparent (in relation to supreme stance uptime). E1 does assist with the energy regen quite a lot, however, I’m using E0 for this video.
@@Moonnverse Thats fair the energy moc helps as well, but its a bit disingenuous to run with a character whose ult does the same as sundays since both regenerate 20% of their max energy. Rather either one fills the role, the biggest difference changes for 0 cycles which most players won't care about anyways or shouldn't and the fact that sunday provides a lot more action advance. Of course using robin with RMC for double 100% action advance sort of fixes that with huo huo making it easier. What should be talked about with Aglaea is the fact that she's a very costly unit and unless you have either sunday or huo huo plus a support that provides action advance on top of RMC and then her e1 solves that entirely just about.. she's rather not a good choice for a lot of players. Good news is its likely sunday will rerun with castorice since castorice sort of needs him along with RMC, bad news is it sort of shafts Aglaea rather quickly plus as I mentioned in a different comment hoyo sort of shafted her in general with later content not even having lightning weakness so and the fact she's second half of 3.0 doesn't help either. That and I think some players might dislike her quite heavily from the story, i still don't understand what she did because the writing was rather bad on that front.. she's sort of a extremely rude character and very pompous and illogical.. just written poorly ontop of that.
@ I think using Huohuo is fine, as I’m not saying the team is “F2P” or advertising it as such. As for her value, in prior videos, I have recommended The Herta over Aglaea, especially in the case of f2p or low spender players.

@@9Tailsfan Yeah, I even went and gave him a decent build (I followed the guides) but I found him very hard to play with. Bosses easily one shot my squishy DPS, so I always end up replacing him with a 5* sustain.
I don't have huo huo and have a well built Acheron so I'm probably skipping. She's going to be monstrous with the right team but that energy hunger is outrageous.

Hou hou is quite... irreplaceable, she's the only sustain that give energy. And you also don't have sunday. Honestly using aglaea without both will be extremely challenging, your gonna run into a lot of energy issues.
However there's a chance hou hou will rerun in 3.1, and Sunday will almost definitely come in 3.2 and obviously robin 3.0.

@@Soul-wz5fs its only 20 energy energy after aglaea or garment maker attacks, its not bad for aglaea because she attacks frequently enough once she has stacks, but huo huo provides something like 70 energy per ult.. which is the only reason she was even able to do ok..

Ironically the same team I was using with Aglaea.. sometimes I feel really creative coming up with teams. But maybe having similar teams to others means I actually understand the game more than I give myself credit for

i am using vonwac cuzz i had those lying around for my RMC... but i feel like i might be better off using Lushaka for my The Herta team. She doesn't NEED mem to go first it feels especially since RMC is already the second fastest in the team (aside from my sustain)
Heck i can then place vonwac on my Serval who desperately needs a speed boost... is this a good idea?
Hello! I had a question about HuoHuo’s lightcone. I actually have HuoHuo’s signature lightcone, but I’ve not seen somebody using it on her in Aglaea teams yet. Are people avoiding it in order to be more FTP friendly, or is it legitimately worse on her than Shared Feeling? Thank you very much, and I appreciate the in-depth showcases! They are very well-made and helpful.
They didn't use Huohuo LC because Aglaea needs a lot of energy for her ult.So, Huohuo LC might be good for the sustainability of the team.But we know that Aglaea has a lot of energy (350 energy).So, people using other lc that can help Aglaea such as Shared feeling because it can give some energy regen or maybe quid pro quo(If you are using Gallagher because Gallagher has a lot of Advance forward)

Im in a bit of a dilema. I rly want to pull for her because I've been itching for a new dps (I've been running Ratio since he came out) and I love her character and kit. But i do not have Sunday or HuoHuo. I do, however, have Robin fully built.
I was planning on putting a team of Robin, Aglaea, RMC, and some sustain (I want to use Aventurine, cuz i love his kit soo much, but ive heard that he is ass for Aglaea so I may run Gallagher).
I'm f2p, but I have a bunch or jades saved up. Enough to possible E1 Aglaea and S1 Robin. Plus, my Aventurine is fully built.

I remember there being so many people who didnt want to pull Sunday for various (a big one being only wanting Waifus) which is fine, but they were being weirdly obnoxious about characters like Aglaea not needing Sunday at all, and how people who pulled Sunday were coping due to “wasting pulls on a trash unnecessary character”. And now with early access here, immediately, everyone’s like “yeahhhhh you REALLY want Sunday” lol.

uhh reality is there is no replacement.. for full free to play options you're looking at ghallger on QpQ and tingyun with DDD...But without e1 with that you're going to suffer and even then its worse than huo huo by herself since huo huo provides aglaea 70 energy due to how huo huos energy works its 20% of their max energy.
Tingyun on ult will provide 50 energy and ghallger per turn with it maxed can provide another 16, but its random and only if you energy is less than 50%...

Aglaea's E1 is the replacement, lol. Seems like you either must have both Sunday and Huohuo or one of them plus E1, and if you don't, then you just suffer, i guess.
I reccomend not pulling her then, its like playing acheron without jiaoqiu

You can use Gallagher with quid pro quo! :) a fast abundance character with that light cone will be a nice option

Hmm energy issues showing up even in the MoC that gives you 20 energy per turn isn't a great sign. She'll definitely be fine with both Sunday and Huo Huo in the long run but her performance without sufficient energy is going to feel really lacking I think.

Following that mydei is already using sunday as well... among so many other characters and castorice also needs sunday which doesn't help aglaea, rather she was sidelined.. hence why she was never brought back to her v1 in beta testing the nerf they did was too much so she was brought back up but she's about 10-20% weaker than her v1 I don't know the exact numbers.
Also looking at later content she sort of gets shafted.. the next moc bosses neither have lightning weakness but people have shown she can brute force through it with well her top team and gear, so she's clearly useable.
So the difference is 1 cycle that's not bad
She's pretty but she seems like a sidegrade to acheron / kafka who already have perfect teams, and I don't have Sunday. So skipping (mostly because I went broke for The Herta).

mydei will use sunday or sparkle and then with his buffs currently he's actually really good so long as you don't mind the fact you have no control over him...
also his e2 is a big deal because hes normally blast but his e2 makes him aoe instead.
He seems pretty strong but his dmg is definitely getting nerfed.

Huohuo on ult provides aglaea I think 70 energy so its actually a pretty big deal, sunday does the same thing its 20% of their max energy so either way fits the role with energy especially if you have aglaeas e1.
However the othe reason she did well was robin being used.. sort of a big deal for the action advance ontop of rmc action advance which helps her a lot.. if you didn't have robin which she's coming again with aglaea so ... try to pull robin if possible because robin is just a big deal support in general and she's had other reruns so I mean I think its fair to say that most people should have robin after the second half of 3.0.

huo huo is enough for aglaea espeically if aglaea has her e1 assuming you have good relics and ornaments like shes using in the video.. aglaea is a high cost unit
secondly that would mean you're skipping castorice becuase there's not a replacement for castorice supports..

The comparison would've been better if you didn't use huo huo a sustain most players won't have and the fact huo huo ultimate provides 20% of a characters max energy to their energy so you sort of cheated using that...
If you had to use ghallger on QpQ or another sustain and didn't have sunday she wouldn't be playable, the same if you use someone like tingyun plus ghallger on qpq and its still less than what huo huo can provide on her own.. due to the random nature of qpq and the act that tingyun is just a flat 50 energy huo huo provides 70 for her if I recall.
So yes she can do ok so long as you have huo huo, and especially e1 with that.
The video is just meant to show a run without Sunday, not a run without Sunday and Huohuo. There will be very noticeable performance differences without both, as you will be lacking the energy Aglaea wants. I purposely didn’t do the energy MoC, and used the trotter MoC, as the energy one would make the large amount of energy she requires less apparent (in relation to supreme stance uptime). E1 does assist with the energy regen quite a lot, however, I’m using E0 for this video.
@@Moonnverse Thats fair the energy moc helps as well, but its a bit disingenuous to run with a character whose ult does the same as sundays since both regenerate 20% of their max energy.
Rather either one fills the role, the biggest difference changes for 0 cycles which most players won't care about anyways or shouldn't and the fact that sunday provides a lot more action advance.
Of course using robin with RMC for double 100% action advance sort of fixes that with huo huo making it easier.
What should be talked about with Aglaea is the fact that she's a very costly unit and unless you have either sunday or huo huo plus a support that provides action advance on top of RMC and then her e1 solves that entirely just about.. she's rather not a good choice for a lot of players.
Good news is its likely sunday will rerun with castorice since castorice sort of needs him along with RMC, bad news is it sort of shafts Aglaea rather quickly plus as I mentioned in a different comment hoyo sort of shafted her in general with later content not even having lightning weakness so and the fact she's second half of 3.0 doesn't help either.
That and I think some players might dislike her quite heavily from the story, i still don't understand what she did because the writing was rather bad on that front.. she's sort of a extremely rude character and very pompous and illogical.. just written poorly ontop of that.
@ I think using Huohuo is fine, as I’m not saying the team is “F2P” or advertising it as such. As for her value, in prior videos, I have recommended The Herta over Aglaea, especially in the case of f2p or low spender players.
@@Moonnverse The issue is the average player doesn't understand these things, nor understand huo huo kit and why its imperative as a replacement for energy regen for aglaea.
Especially since huo huo hasn't had a rerun in a long time, though rumors are mydeis banner might have her.
It would been good to have pointed out that huo huo provides the same energy benefit sunday does but obviously not the action advance becuase if you don't have huo huo then the team doesn't work without sunday becuase there's not a good enough replacement to manage the energy cost without e1 and even with e1 maybe.
@ I have mentioned huohuo giving 70 energy in my prior videos, and also mentioned how she benefits Aglaea’s ultjmate in this video due to the energy regen from Huohuo’s ultimate.
