But meh, as cool as this tank is, it, just like the rest of the game died for me after the changes to HE. These HE rounds are of the rare few low caliber HE that used to allow you to pick apart hull down heavies if you knew where to shoot, as good as 300+ alpha guns... Now the game's just a paper nightmare and hull down stompfest instead

Skiiiiill this is my favorite tank and the first one I ever got full marks on, so happy to see it :)
When it was tier 8, it was my favourite LT (and only :D), but after rework I grinded T10 and sold both because they were shit (and me too). Now I have fun with HWK 30, which is basically old Ru... do you think buying Ru or Flipwagen is worth it?

I think they are better than HWK in tier to tier. X tier might be worse than HWK but im not sure about that. I will grind that line someday
Hwk is not at all like ru used to be tho. As per if it's worth it... Well, before the HE changes I used to enjoy it still. After it it tho... Well, I stopped playing and I don't enjoy it at all. Used to really love my t49 too.

Im thinking about grinding that line. Im not so bad i have close to 20k battles but still ive been avoiding light tanks for long time but.... Months ago ive grinded manticore and i was in love with entire line. Even with Setter. Good winratio purple wn8 on VI, VII tier. Crusader was amazing as well due to dpm. It would be easy to get 3rd Mark with that tank. LHMTV was least fav tank but still it was fun to Play. I love Gsor. Awesome light tank. Now after buffs i think i might grind german light tanks.
Crusader is butchered, used to love it at tier 5

Not disgusting, but very desired, yes. T54 light, ru, and amx where the go to lights back in the day, t54 for more armor, amx for firepower, and run for pire mobility and spotting

Yeah it’s an upgrade to the HWK 30 but it doesn’t quite bully like the HWK can.
So that’s how you play it can never play this light spotter get kill within 3 mins
How to play with RU (or anything):
Step 1 - have unicorn gamesense, experience and knowledge.
I wish I got games like these 3...
The RU used to be one of my 'mountain climbers' but now that WGing shelved or removed that element of the game...I'll leave this tank in the hands of someone who can use it in regular gameplay.

You write it wrong: it is not "agile" it is "fragile". The turret turn is super slow so it can't deal well with moving targets. Russian tanks have a combination of armor, turret turn and chassis turn; this together make then winners. And the shots are concentrated in the middle of the aiming circle too, what simply do not happens with germans, for example.
I don’t know, I think RU is slightly better than 54 ltwt..never noticed the turret traverse to be an issue.
@@csh5414 , It is. New vehicles like the new premium Pz 07 03 something has fast turret turn. Check german line, all vehicles with atrocious turret traverse speeds.

This game has 2 trustable stats: armor and viewrange. But the most efficient is armor.
German tanks has no armor, no pen, no gun handling, no mobility.
HWK is RU but one tier lower
Nah it's a fat tall slug. And it's shells are sluggish too.
