As a big Sonic fan since my early youth I almost fell out of my chair just listening to the amount of gags related to various Sonic songs and well known dialogue lines in this. It's amazing how well it all fits together.
I was listening to this whilst eating dinner when my mom said out of the blue “video game music has gotten so much better since I was a kid!” Keep up the good work! You actually got my mom who hasn’t played a video game since the 1990’s!
As someone with 35 springs behind me and still stuck in perpetual adolescence, this song hit like a gut punch when I realized that Sonic (in-song) has at least got its life somewhat figured out.
So I've previously heard "It just works", "Eternal Horizon" and "Count to three" independent of the channel, and it was only today that I actually stumbled upon the channel itself, and man am I glad I did. The quality is of the rails and every video is simply amazing. It's not often that every single song hits but you've done it. And beyond that I love how they're all unique yet very clearly you. "Breathtaking" and "A gamer's Christmas" are bops, "Bowsette", "Eternal Horizon" and "Crushing Thirties" are bangers, "Count to three" and "It just works" are iconic, and "Lock me up" is my new personal anthem. You're amazing and I can't wait to follow your journey more actively going forward.
I just turn 30 today my sis and my friend played this song for me which i didn't know it existed till now i seriously felt anxiety about turning 30 yesterday but this lifted my spirits and just like johnny i told my sis and my friends are guys making fun of me when they played the song but i loved it 😂

I can understand you❤
You all did an amazing job with this and it looked like he had so much fun being a part of the project!
I can't help but smile when watching this. The song is just so much fun, and I love the energy Johnny puts into everything.
love his voice, i really like the "rash" cool sound in it
Seeing Johnny have a blast and giggling reading through the verses just made my day 😂
As a big Sonic fan since my early youth I almost fell out of my chair just listening to the amount of gags related to various Sonic songs and well known dialogue lines in this.
It's amazing how well it all fits together.
Exactly❤
The editing is hilarious, I watched this for an hour choking on laughter XD
Still soooo glad I got to be a part of this, guys!!
It was so great to get you involved! I love your pixel Sonic design and the rough animation you did for ones of the most hilarious scenes 💖💖💖
Still can't believe you guys got THE Johnny G for this! Probably my favorite non-official Sonic song!
I love how the instrumental and the melody of the vocals are like an anti-Live and Learn
“ ‘crushing in your 30s’ are you making fun of me? No I’m in my 50s-“
I love how you managed to get Johnny Gioeli
😂 i love this parody so much. I just wished the animation had been longer.
I love how Johnny enjoying making this Sonic tribute. I hope Sega use his voice for next gen sonic
I was listening to this whilst eating dinner when my mom said out of the blue “video game music has gotten so much better since I was a kid!”
Keep up the good work! You actually got my mom who hasn’t played a video game since the 1990’s!
As someone with 35 springs behind me and still stuck in perpetual adolescence, this song hit like a gut punch when I realized that Sonic (in-song) has at least got its life somewhat figured out.
The fact that one of the lines in this song is “It’s no use” you makes me laugh
Love all of the game references! Awesomeness! Also laughing so hard with Amy as the bossy wife! 🤣🤣🤣
Dude he sounds the same just like all those songs years ago, it’s amazing will forever love crush 40 and Johnny!!!
This song is the exact opposite of "Sonic Youth" and I love it.
This song simultaneously made me older and younger just by the fact that Johnny was in this. Great work guys!
I listened to this song on my 30th birthday so many times. Thank you guys so much for this. All of you are amazing!
I love Johnny Gioeli he just has this fun air around him
Goddamn. Johnny's vocals still kick ass even today. This is a great song nice work!
Best. Backstage. E V E R
Ok this is actually amazing, I've had this song stuck in my head for days now
I wonder if Senoue already checked it.
Great song, great editing, great video, just great all around, really enjoyed this.
One dude had to learn 3 different sheets to play this on his electro-guitar and bass. Respect
well, I came up with these parts so it wasn't a big deal.. x)
