The longer the train, the longer it takes for your brakes to release. You kept trying to push the train with the brakes still half applied. If you look at the brake guage, the red needle tells you how much the brakes are applied on the locomotive.
Love the videos! Keep it up!
Honestly the brakes seem to release much faster then i expected. But i cam from driving looong american trains
I've never really cared for trains (outside of casually liking steam trains), but watching your channel has definitely gotten me a bit into them. I like how especially chill these videos are. The editing in this video was also pretty smooth.
Thank you very much! And i have to thank Micah for the editing on this one
Not sure how much you want tips vs figuring things out on your own, so don't read if you wanna figure it out yourself:
There's a little red handle on the cars, on the tanker it's next to the hand brake. If you pull it it'll release the air brakes on that car. They'll also slowly discharge themselves over time, even if you still have a locomotive attached and running!
The time bonus is always 50% of the base pay.
The jobs have a set pattern: shunting (load) -> freight haul -> shunting (unload) -> logistics haul.
This is great!! I didnt know what that red handle did. But i have only noticed them on the tank cars
Its time for you to find the locomotive remote, and learn how to use it. The same keyboard bindings work with the remote, but you can stand on the end of the train when backing up, on the roof of the loco when moving forward, or on the ground near your siding.
And coupling/uncoupling trains is at the push of a button....no more messing with hitches, brake lines, or hand brakes.
Aw thats all part of the fun lol. The remote will hopefully make an apperance in a later episode
I love your content so much I actually watched it at work and then came home and liked them on my account just so you get the likes you deserve
Haha wow thanks so much
@BluGames I recommend playing this in vr its so surreal when your riding along in the train with the views and all and the Derails are insane in vr
Your editing is so good I didn't even saw the video was 30 minutes long :D
Love ur vids !
Thanks for riding along!!
Great video...I am really having a lot of fun with this game. I crash 3 de2's and I had a de2 run away at full speed. I hit the wrong key and jumped out of the train. lmao...
Hahahaha so many funny moments in this game
I will always love derail valley and with southern skins
I need to download some skins
southern railway and br are really nice and for steamer go the military skin ones i recommend
I will check those out
The sander switch in DH4 has two positions. The second one drops more sand.
I did not know that.. thanks
loving these keep pumping them out
thanks for the stream mate you have a new sub mate
Thank you my friend lookn forward yo see u around
Blu,Any WHEELING & LAKE ERIE & RJ CORBIN Missions that you could get?
Not yet
🤩🤩🤩
The mission number is on the placard with the car number. Much easier to find your cut number. Then you can confirm the first and last car numbers.
Hype hype
Bro you got to try it in vr it’s cool
I did!! I made a video lol
I’m new to the game and I’m really enjoying it. I’ll definitely watch your VR version.
been playing for 40 hours so far haven't seen a job that pays that much yet. I have about 370k saved right now debating on getting more hazmat licenses or get the DE6 for 200k O.o. Can't find much info out there if the DE6 is worth it. I've been running DH4's (1 or 2 if needed) it's been handling 800-900t so far.
edit I heard you saying the tank cars don't change when unloading they actually do when you empty them, the flash codes (diamond symbols) get removed when the tanker is empty. Nice little details!
The DE6 is 100% worth it. And i have seen some hazmat jobs pay even more then this
DE6 is worth it, it's easy mode from there. I took 2 DE6 to do 2 jobs at once (1500 tonnes) - both payed over 100k and the manual maintenance was combined less than 15k.
It’s not allowed to remove hazmat codes before the tankers have had an inside cleaning. Empty tankers are more dangerous than loaded ones, especially those who were loaded with Class 3 products.
@@RobBroers oh wow i didnt know that. So who cleans them?
In Derail Valley I don’t know who cleans them; don’t have my hazmat license yet 😀. IRL there are specialized companies to do that.
I will do all of the shunting jobs when I get to a station, then when I'm done I will take any jobs going to the next two stations and after dropping off the cars in that station, do all the shunting jobs and the cycle continues. Playing that way I have over a million in my wallet.
Good game
Thank you
You think this game is beautiful. Try it in VR. Holy!
Yess in vr its great
@@BluGames My only complaint is that it's not as EASY to move between your hot-keyed items (unless I just don't know how to do that). But when you're barreling down a mountain towards a bend in an underpowered locomotive... the fear is real. :) hehe
that locomotive exist in romania locomotive not train
Oh really? Thats cool.
Romania uses German made DB V90? Cool
