Loved them years ago when I knew the way.i lived on the road how ever the government made it impossible.persicuted us.but here I am reeducating my self.im ready to fight and take my freedom back .me my horse and my dogs .back to the future.freedom
Love you guys! Saw them in Liverpool 1991 at the uni. Got whipped in the face by some girl's dreads right at the front, we were both in front of the stage at the railings. I just strolled back stage, and up some stairs after the show while everyone else was leaving, and they were all there just hanging out. I stayed for about 45 min, listening to their stories of crazy things happening in different towns while touring. One was all about losing their weed, and then finding it on the beach a day later. The singer was wearing sunglasses as he had a stye. The fiddle player had his prize fizzle stolen on a prior gig in Liverpool, so was not fond of the place. I was 17. Amazing! One Love 💖🙏✨
The LEVELLERS- Still such an inspirational 'collective' 🙏 Even with 30+ years under their belt they remain my top live band😎👍 kicking it with the SPIRIT of L👀VE 1❤
underratted bands the 70s free the 80s japan the 90s the levellers i love them all some off the best music you will hear in your lifetime this is what makes mick williams
Absolutely amazing.love you guys and let me say u still look and sound the part. I wish u were more essex way I'd be right up for that Keep it up gentlemen spot on 👍🏻
I'm hoping if the world goes mad again and we are meant to be isolated until the next miracle mRNA drug comes along to save our lives the levellers will lead the revolution with some amazing tune. They got me through some shit when when I was 16 and again when the lockdown shit started causing mental health issues. Love you guys
@levllers do you have a song book for a wepon called the word or harmonica tabs with the keys As music is a thing of joy and happiness let's spead a little love
I first heard this on Headlights white lines and black tar rivers live album, which in my opinion is the best album ever.Had some real good times listening to this lot.Seen em live a few times to, great band, great people fantastic music. Live life, peace.
If the group is still replying, can I ask what harp and in what key Simon is playing please, I'm hearing a Lee Oskar but unsure. Always great to hear you guys, thank you.
What I don't understand is why the band are putting out another compilation album consisting of tracks from their most recent LP and others that everyone knows? For the life of me I cannot see a legitimate reason. These aren't remixes or alternate versions they are mostly identical to the versions everybody has heard a thousand times before. I really hope I've missed something here and that someone can help me understand.
Im 89 and still listen to this love it
