In any case, for both it's a playstyle choice, so you could run focus if you wanted to but it defeats the purpose of my builds. 90% of my builds are designed so that if you want to escape quickly from a 5v1 scenario, you will have the needed tools to do so (and vice versa; so you can chase people who are doing the same -- this is WvW, the maps are big, you want to be fast). In PvP I'd probably take focus instead, but also, this build probably would suck in PvP - think of it like an all-terrain vehicle vs a sports car, this build is the all-terrain vehicle that you can take anywhere and still get out of the mud with if you're clever. Plus, in general, it just synergizes well with the build/dagger offhand received a lot of buffs over the last two years and is pretty strong now.
Well, it's not a *great* build regardless but I think everyone knows I don't use great builds anymore on purpose :P It's not about uptime though, the uptime was always low on doom sigil over the years yet it remained a very effective sigil option (to the point of ridicule from many players whenever I used it - "you are using OP doom sigil and dare BM me!!" etc). There are a few players in this build who had higher cleanse uptime, but vs the average player (and even if you just skip to random points in this video) you'll notice the uptime is actually pretty consistent. It not only acts as a trash condi so that I can get burns/bleeds off but especially vs players with long heal cds if they use it with poison that's a huge debuff on them for the next 30s. But yeah uptime is completely related to whether or not your opponent has high stability and cleanse. If they have both, it becomes a very sub-optimal build to use vs them, but, again, I am here for the challenge xd cheers man
How so? The only thing it has in common with auramancer builds is the fact that it synergizes aura use, and that's the majority of ele builds at this point. The playstyle is completely different from auramancer. You can't take fire/air/earth on a tempest build 😅but if you're just implying that auramancer is better, I don't disagree, this is an off-meta build

if you watch closely your poisons have no uptime and hardly ever impact your enemies healing... not a great build. I do ty for the videos tho.
