I am really upset i can't get any video footage of Phell,Stern, Morales! I was at the Ramapo College NJ show , front row . what an intense jam session . I was sweating,just watching. I swear some of those jams were very minor key and never appeared on any albums . Was i dreaming or did that really happen? I would be great if there were footage, i know cameras were not permitted. What a chemistry . it was like, here and gone, what a shame no one can experience that level of intense music interaction!
After six minutes of guitar shredding while the the bass player turns his inside out to support the bass player finally gets his spot in the limelight. What happens? The guitarist goes to check his settings on the amp and then continues to "comp" as he was still leading! I am not unaware of Mike Sterns legacy but this is not worthy of a master.
