Dear Veekee... There is a challenge about the exact time to send the email for appointing for a slot... on their website they quoted 8AM CET... but CET is a time Zone and not local time because Central Europe now is on Central European Summer Time (CEST) and not CET. Please I want to know exactly what Local Time Nigeria corresponds to CET 8am on their site... I want to believe CET (Time Zone) 8AM corresponds to West African Time (WAT) Zone... so I believe that email is supposed to arrive 8AM Nigeria Local time... please what's your viewpoint about this?

I tried booking an appointment for visa interview for 7months but couldn't till my school documents expired,I quickly asked for a tution ND accommodation refund 🤣it's almost impossible because there's no more student mode unlike before were you had it ND also self booking,now Nigeria ND some other countries linked to their embassy in Abuja need to struggle for just 10slots in a month.forget it they will tell you to reduce ur PDF format size so ur mail can arrive at 8:00 but still no level.

@Veekee... right now Europe does not use CET for local time in summer but rather CEST(Summer Time) which is adjusted one hour forward on the last sunday of March yearly in Central Europe... your last response leaves me more confused... could you please just tell me what time in Nigeria the email should be scheduled for? Thanks as I await your reply... dont tell me GMT+2hours anymore, just tell me what local time in Nigeria will correspond to 8am CET zonal standard time... it is so confusing because last year they had it on their website for the embassy at Abuja as 8am Local Time Nigeria.. for some reasons they changed it now for 2024 to 8AM, CET. On the Ghanaian portal of their embassy... it states 8am local time for Ghanaians.
I really don’t know how to explain this to you. They call it CEST because it is one hour behind their ‘normal’ time. So during summer, it does not matter if they use CET or CEST, just know that they follow Czech Republic present time

My international relations assistant advised me to apply for Long time residence permits instead of long time visa reason being that i will get the residence permits card when i arrive. Please what is your advice because i have a plan of my family joining me later. Do embassy here in Nigeria accept long time residence permits application form.

That will be a good idea, but unfortunately, they don’t give long term resident permits out Czech Republic or for Nigerians

Unfortunately you are not the first person saying this 😞. Can your friend send an email to the school to ask them if their is any alternative for students who cannot be there physically?
I was rejected once because they said they are not sure I was going to school..I have to go through a lawyer yet I missed the Visa..till now I have not gotten a date.
A friend of mine suffered this too. I used his rejection letter to prepare for my interview. You need to be adequately prepared and show enough motivation to study in CZech. Keep pushing

If you tell them what you want to use it for, the hospital knows what tests to perform. But test like hiv, tuberculosis and syphilis results must be displayed on the test results

Your school should share information on this with you. Some schools have accommodation and if not, they will suggest for you.

I hope it will stand as my accomodation contract.Again after scheduling my email, do you mean I can send it a day before that day and it will get delivered on the actual day. Thanks.
If you know how to schedule an email, then it is also reliable. But I will advise if you don’t know how to, you shouldn’t or you can be practising for now

What time did you schedule your email for the Embassy Appointment?
I scheduled the email a day before and but when sending, I added the time the embassy stated in their website for sending emails which was 8:00am

If I want to schedule my email, is that It 7.0am I will schedule it our own time which is their 8.00amCET.Your reply will be appreciated.

You only need your sponsor's 3 month statement, with proof of their credit card linked. In addition You can also present your own card at embassy. Most applications in Czech open from July onwards.

What Local Time in Nigeria is 8AM CET?

CET is one hour ahead of GMT. CET is GMT +1
@@veeke_kelo so in essence are you saying that for someone in Nigeria the local time in Nigeria to send the email for appointment booking should be 8am Nigerian time right? Because GMT + 1 is same time Nigeria runs on.... so if I get you right... 8am CET on the embassy site means send the email (GMT +1) which is 8am Nigeria Local Time and Currently 9am Central European Summer Time right?
@@veeke_kelo I made the mistake this month and sent the email 7am Nigerian Local Time on May 15, 2024. I have a brother in Germany who told me it should have been sent 8am Nigerian Time and 9am Czech(Germany) time... please confirm.
