Other than these screens being massive fingerprint magnets, I was really impressed with the Q7. Do you prefer digital screens or analog buttons for your media/HVAC functions?
My mother just got a Q7- more of a “base” model than the one in the video. Turbo 4 & no air suspension. We drove several vehicles before she made her decision & I was super impressed with the Audi. The car has enough pep & the electronics that are included put other competitors to shame. Anyone in the market for a 3 row luxury crossover NEEDS to take a close look at the Q7
Good review. Yes there are 6 UA-cam channels said bad about when you accelerate to pass someone or want to get more aggressive drive this one doesn't allow you to do that. Wow.
Analog buttons for scrolling infotainment media and HVAC buttons are always better than slow/laggy fingerprint magnet touchscreen interfaces that have zero tactile feedback.
Proud of you man. Wish I would have met you at a cars and coffee before you moved but didn’t discover you until the beginning of the pande. Best friend lives in Marina Del Rey so maybe I’ll catch ya out there
I rented a Cayenne with this power train. Have to agree with the 8 speed ZF auto feeling very “slush boxy.” Was really impressed with the Cayenne overall even in the basic spec I drove. I don’t think it had the air suspension and it still rode really well with stock 19” wheels and higher profile tires. Problem with Porsche is that even a “basic” Cayenne is $75-80k the way I’d spec it. I’ve been curious to drive a Q7 to see how it would compare since it’s more affordable than the Cayenne. But I definitely prefer the 5” shorter wheelbase that the Cayenne offers versus the 3-row Q7.
I'm definitely with you, smaller wheels for the most part are better! Better ride and less chance of bending them. I haven't driven the latest Cayenne but I'd be curious how the transmission programming comapres to the Q7.
Does it still have the shitty direct fuel injection system? If so - DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE. I have a 3.0 tfsi engine and it's constantly clogged up with gunk from the terribly designed engine. I've had it for a year and I've spent 3,000 dollars on NOTHING - just clogged up passageways. I'm waiting one more year for a slightly used Model Y and never going back to gas again. Buy a Mercedes if you want a nice gas vehicle.

Glad she's loving it. Haven't driven the 4cyl but good to hear it's still worthy. These are great platforms!

tbh, 4 years later its not laggy at all. And it's haptic, very haptic lol
The current title says “Tickle-Down Engineering” 🤣😭🤌
How doesn't love a good tickle?
That option was extra. Mostly for the French-speaking customer base.

Bummer we couldn't connect but when this whole mess is over hit me up when you visit LA.
Just bought one of these 4cyl lol but I did enjoy the video great job
Enjoy it!

@@EatSleepDrive The Enterprise car rental in Santa Monica has several of them for $150/day if you aren’t able to get a press car.
Might be worth trying the Q8 - shorter than the Q7 with two rows not three and a real head-turner…
Audi is better off rubbing off together with Porsche and Bentley designs than with its Volkswagon design roots. 👍🦵
Спасибо ! Это лучший авто в своём классе ! Хочу такой !
my favorite car! I have a 2013 Q7 Prestige S-line with air suspension. looking forward to a newer one
I will buy your old one when your ready to sell
Tickle tickle tickle
Tickel down 😂😂😂
VW group trickles down a lot of engineering into base VW models even as well. Good bang for the buck for sure.
