Doughnuts, a sweet delight for Hanukkah

The annual "Festival of Lights" is marked by traditions, but a more recent tradition is the consumption of filled or topped doughnuts, or "sufganiyot." At Adir Michaeli's New York City bakery, correspondent Serena Altschul finds out how they're mixing things up for the holiday, creating sweet, sugary delights.

Happy Hanukkah! My family wasn't Jewish, but growing up there was a Jewish bakery and deli a block away from our home that we frequented. I miss that place and all the delectable delights and delicious smells, like donuts...cookies...coffeecakes...breads. Be still my cholesterol laden heart!
