23B and Me

23B was flawless the three sessions I drove it. I was not. I'd say I got a solid 40-minute of track time and boy was it glorious. This was only my second day on track with the 23B and shifting the Hewland is still the big issue. The concentration it takes away from the rest my driving is the biggest hindrance in learning to feel the car. The second biggest hindrance are the brakes. They just feel like they have no bite. I felt like if I didn't brake early, I over-cooked them, locked the tires, and over-shot the turn in. Whatever, I'll get it. It was just so glorious hearing that Twink rev to 8,500 RPM going up the gears and feeling the rapid, linear acceleration. What a rush driving this car. I can't believe it had been since April 21, 2023 that I had driven it!
