Enjoyed the video guys. Good job. Good hunting ethics. On another note of potential concern, if those radio's you're using are baofeng's, I hope you have a license to use them because if not it's going to eventually catch up to you. The fcc regulates the radio waves they use and a ham radio license is required to use them. You won't want that to catch up to you if they are because it's considered a federal crime and could end your ability to hunt or own a gun depending on if they decide to do a felony charge. Not trying to be the radio police here, just a heads up. If they're baofeng's, pay the $15 to take the test and get the lifetime license, if you don't have one. They way you were using them just didn't seem quite in line for a licensee requirements, but maybe you edited those parts out. They are fantastic radios for the backcountry. I just wouldn't want that to catch up to you and get in the way of your future hunting. I'd like to keep seeing your videos. 👍
Looked to me like baofeng radio's. I hope I'm wrong because if they are baofeng's, they're ham radios which require a fcc license to use. It seems likely they don't have licenses because they aren't operating them correctly, for a licensee. Again, hope wrong because if not, and I don't want to come across preachy, but then they're breaking fcc federal laws and can get in huge trouble using them. To be nice I'd give you a suspicious benefit of the doubt they're not baofeng's. But the fcc doesn't take it lightly and can find out by what radio waves your broadcasting across which are specifically protected. I'm only suspicious because I've got a baofeng...and a license. Best way to communicate in the backcountry besides a satellite phone though. Very affordable too. Get the license though. It's a moderate study and $15 exam for a lifetime license. Get caught and the fines are like poaching but it'll also get you a felony and you won't be hunting anymore, so it's not worth it. When you & your buddies have licenses its a significant communication advantage in the field, both in hunting and in emergencies. In any case... enjoyed the video though guys! 👍
Unless it is a kid, the guy that puts the fatal shot in a deer gets the deer. The idea is to put a clean kill shot on the deer not wound one and hope someone puts him down for you. No way I'm letting a guy have a buck I kill after he put a leg shot on the deer. You put a leg shot on a deer, you screwed up, your loss. Any deer, whitetail or mule deer can survive a leg shot.
Nice that you guys are able to put down the wounded for the first guy. I sure that he appreciated that you guys were able to finish the animal and put it out of it's pain. Hope you are able connect. Keep the videos coming guys.
So hard to stay motivated when the wind blows like that, regardless how great the country and deer potential. Super job of hanging tough and showing how not every hunt ends with a punched tag, but great memories made anyway.
@@TheMountainProject I didn't say it to be rude. Apologies it came out that way. I watched a few episodes to give it a fair shot. Just wasn't my thing. Happy hunting. Best of luck.
@@chandlermalichanh5126 Well, what you should have done is not say anything and not watch his channel anymore. There was absolutely no point in saying what you did.
So did the other guy tag that buck? You're a good man. I know several who would have fought for the deer. I hope it works out for you!
Yep. He got to the deer finally right after Chase did, and Chase let him tag it. No need to fight over something like that.
@@TheMountainProject I'm not surprised at all. Chase is a pretty ok guy! 🤣 I've yet to see any game animal worth fighting over!
I'm the guy that wounded the deer and Chase is one hell of a stand up guy, and grateful he finished it off.
You can’t have other people tell you where an animal is with a walkie but still a solid video!! Congrats

Is the orange supposed to be visible, not underneath the coats and jackets?
Truly the real deal. Your content never disappoints. Even a cold, windy ass day with no deer is fun to watch. Thanks guys.
Thanks Jeffrey

Finishing a wounded hobbling deer for another hunter... Ethical, and you guys are studs for letting him tag it.
What is the brand of radios you are using

True Detective intro is sick.
Just moved out the country in Utah, trying to figure out this whole deer hunting thing so I can give it a go next year.
your a good man chase. keep up the good work.
Thank ya Ben 👊🏽
Good deal there. May I ask what your glassing set up is... Tripod, pan head, adapter and so forth.
This was a Promaster tripod, manfroto 701, Outdoorsmans adapter. We have a couple different setups and should make a video of them.
The Mountain Project a video would be awesome. Keep the great content.
Solid work fellas! Another great video!
Thanks guys
Tough hunting. But looks fun.
It was still fun!
That was good of you to let the other guy tag tha buck. Great video.

We were able to experience all parts of the hunt except taking the meat home.
Awesome footage. 28 Nosler at its best thanks for posting Happy Hunting 🥃🦌🌮
Thanks brotha 👊🏽
Hunting in high winds like that suck. Long and rough day praying to see something.
It’s the worst!
One tough ass deer!! Cool you let him tag it! Let ya know still good there’s good people in this world!! #gilaoutdoor
He was a tough one! Thanks Houston
Good job finishing dudes wounded buck. All the shooting was probably the HUSH crew taking 1,000 yard pot shots wounding game. Haha
Not a fan of your channel. Sorry
Hahaha. Ok 👍. Thanks for letting us know. We’re real bummed out about it and might lose a day or two of sleep over this. 🙄 but we’ll survive.
