Risk management, mastering your emotions and a well defined edge are the minimums for success in the markets. you must be ready to lose because if you can’t accept losses, you will never learn how to trade and earn.
I say this all the time. If you can’t manage your risk properly, you just might not be able to trade profitably
Losses are necessary, as long as they are associated with a technique to help you learn from them
@HEDAMJOHNSON i suppose you’re talking about Brad cooper,The same trading ex pert handling my trading over the years.
Diligent risk management can help reduce the chance of losses while ensuring that financial goals are met
One of the most practical risk management techniques is to be patient. Determine the minimum amount of credit necessary to cover yourself for the capital at risk
Phenomenal explanation for why you should learn to accept the risk and move on v/s doubling down until you are out of capital!
Great work as always 🙌🏿
Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
The strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.
Impressive gains! how can I get your advisor please, if you don't mind me asking? I could really use a help as of now.
Lina Dineikiene' is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. Thanks for sharing.
Very educative video, thanks a lot!
This was super insightful! ❤
U nailed it again man !!
This was very helpful insurance is a great way to put it. Free game for all thanks for the content as always
Thanks James.. just yesterday I got the idea risk management should be more dynamic in a sense, but I don't have time to re-invent the wheel right now(hampster wheel is another idea I had recently🤣)Being able to completely disengage/disentangle yourself from trading at will is sooo important - I also figured. A favorite video of mine by Adam Khoo(pretty sure you know this principle too.): Trade Like a Casino for Consistent Profits by Adam Khoo
#Enjoy 🙏💙
Bro, thank you! You best adviser ))
Great tips enjoyed watching!
Good stuff James agreed that we need to be good risk managers

Great vlog From Bristol UK
I like hedging more with Covered Calls than PUTs. PUTs cost you money, no matter what. A CC generates revenue, and if it expires worthless, cool. If it does not, and you don't want to sell at that strike. On the Friday of that expiration, just "roll" the contract forward a week or two, for the next strike price up. This should provide additional credit, and a higher strike.
The only "downside" to this obviously is if something you're hedging explodes, you can't profit take for a long time as you step up the strike price per week. And, the free money printer (selling CCs) has to stop until they then expire.
Real Great Content! wish i could 'love it' instead of just 'like it'....
Great video!!!!!
I know nothing about trading/ Investing and I'm keen on getting started . What are some strategies to get started with ?
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
I'm guided by a widely known crypto consultant
Mrs Selma Gena
This is correct, Selma Gena strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.
Selma is considered a key Crypto Strategist with one of the best copy Trading portfolio and also very active in the cryptocurrency space.
Isn't that the same Selma Gena that my neighbours are talking about, she has to be a perfect expert for people to talk about her so well
This year could turn out worse. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of poor investing decisions that I would never have made if I hadn't been so concerned about my portfolio. I wasn't sure whether to keep investing or make mortgage payments. After selling my investments, I discovered that the house required more work than I expected. I'm not sure how long I can go on like this..
Take things easy, we've all made mistakes
Invest in companies that provide current cash flows to diversify your portfolio. I hired a planner at the end of 2023 to enhance my portfolio, and in the last ten months, I've made profits in over fifty thousand different marketplaces. Should 2023 teach us anything, it's that luck doesn't last forever. Even in times of abundance, we should put in more effort to prepare for the worst case scenario
How can one find a verifiable financial planner?
Leah Foster Alderman. You'll undoubtedly find out more if you look her up online.
She appears to be well educated and well read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website, thank you for sharing.
How can you find gapping stocks before the open? Don't the gaps only occur after the open?
There is pre and post market hours. Stocks still trade, but a lot less volume and bigger spreads.
I can already tell you TSLA is likely gapping down tomorrow, because it was 8% down in post market, after earnings.
@@okkrom don't gaps happen only at the start of the week?
@@connormcchicken5915 On stocks? No. It can happen everyday the market opens.
@@xoxUnD3R0aThxox right as @okkrom said price moves in the premarket so I can see around what price the stock will open at
HI, I am 14 years old and want to trade in stocks, but I am still in the process of learning, my question is what are Order Types?
Can u market buy stocks under $1 on E*trade I heard u can only use limit orders on stocks under $1 which is stupid
@@chrissmith8469 limit orders for penny stocks on Etrade. I know it’s dumb
@@jamesrichyoung thanks ! wow thats really dumb .
100k subs coming up.
Most may think Keating was the biggest fool that night, but I like to think he left with buying Neymar's friendship for life.
@@ChristopherJChoi that’s a good point
Hello Mr. Young, is there anyway you would consider allowing me to communicate with you? I watched your video on how you became a day trader and I find myself in a very similar position. I've committed the past 22 years to the Fire Service as a firefighter/EMT. I'm looking towards retirement and learning something that I can pass on to my future generations. I have 4 sons and would really appreciate the opportunity to work with you personally please. I am not sure whether or not you are open to that but I would definitely appreciate the opportunity to discuss any and all options.
