Thank you for letting us all know about the Happy AYCE Hot Pot LA Tim! The food looked so fresh and delicious with the huge variety to select from. The staff was so friendly and helpful which would add to a very positive and memorable dining experience. So important. It was a very nice interior decor with everything clean and bright. I loved the flashing lights and strings of Holiday lights which created a festive, upbeat atmosphere. At such a great bargain price for all that is offered it is no wonder that it is so popular as we can see in your video @ 17:03 . I agree that fat is absolutely needed for flavor, and also nutrition (being carnivores ha ha). Stay safe and have a good one !!

Tim… Before I discovered your channel, if someone told me I would spend 30, 40 minutes watching a complete UA-cam video every time a new one came out… I would say they were crazy. But somehow you are must watch UA-cam from beginning to end. And I honestly think a lot of it comes down to your completely Ernest and polite and respectful habits when it comes to staff and appreciation of the food and the dining establishments. Just keep on keeping on with what you do. Amazing! As a sidenote… I've always despised fat on my meat. But after watching you for a while now, I really want to try eating meat with fat for that added flavor.

Most restaurants know the affect of social media, especially Asian restaurants. Thus, I'm sure Tim got super special treatments. The hotpot meats he got look really high quality, i'm wondering if any regular customers would get that kind of quality meats though

Still having fun in SG. So, it's 100 degrees out and you decide Hot Pot is a good idea. Ha, ha! I've never had the opportunity to do a Hot Pot. That was a bottomless pot. Lots and lots of meat. The bamboo shoots are different from what I'm used to seeing. Pretty. Blessings to you from Oregon..

You love fat on protein like I do - to me it's flavor - it's richness of the meat! LOVE IT! Why I buy a scotch fillet over a porterhouse - scotch has more fat in it! ❤❤
if you ever decide to come out to northern va (just west of DC) there are a gazilion hot pot places. i have not tried them as im not very versed on how to do them, but the hubby and i would love to treat you to some of them in the area. you can pick the ones you think area best, per reviews, (maybe around sterling, chantilly, herndon or reston, va area).. and we can try them out. maybe do a colab since it too love to post about food. 😊 say hi to danny, if you run into him again. he and i did a couple of colabs a while back.
that's a really nice place everything looked very good I know it was a minor part of the meal but I really liked the look of the fatty Char Siu. I think the unidentified greens are gai lan?, kai lan? (Chinese broccoli to me) and the glass broad noodle might have gone in first with your other noodles instead of last but it did come out last so it was probably cooked enough they do have a unique texture either way. Your server Wendy had a big friendly smile.. and nothing to do with the restaurant but I thought the built in spoon on your ice cream container lid was cool I guess I haven't seen that before probably because I don't buy those little cups.
The leafy greens, by the shape of their leaves @ 31:13 through 31:30, look like Chinese (Oriental) Celery rather than Gai Lan leaves, but I may be mistaken.

Place looks delicious. A meat lovers dream with the hot pot. How much meat can you consume in a meal? You have an amazing digestive system. If I ate the hot pot meat I don’t think I could eat anything else! Maybe the noodles with tofu and mushrooms and a few shu mai lol. Personally I would skip the buffet as the hot pot and dim sum is plenty for my stomach to be full.
At work, we get to order our own business cards and the company always asks for our title. I wonder if I would get in trouble if I put buffet eater on the ordering form

I think it’s a bit different especially when I’m there with a camera. I suspect the service was definitely affected.

I think they were just tapioca chewy noodles. Really delicious though.
