The core teaching I wish to impart revolves around the fundamental concept of how reality is believed to be created. It's about understanding the balance between feminine and masculine energies. When these energies are in harmony, life flows smoothly. When they are out of balance, discord arises.
In our universe, everything is dual: day and night, left and right, above and below, inside and outside. This duality includes the divine feminine and divine masculine energies, both equally valuable and necessary for creation. Unfortunately, modern society has primarily glorified the masculine, while suppressing the feminine. This imbalance has led us astray, creating chaotic conversations and societal norms that distort our true nature.
Let's delve into these energies. The masculine energies are symbolized by fire and air. Fire represents passion and action-it drives us to achieve, to strive for more. Air symbolizes the world of ideas and innovation-it fuels our intellect and ambitions. These energies are essential, but when overemphasized, they lead to an imbalance where we neglect our emotional and physical needs.
On the other hand, the feminine energies are embodied by earth and water. Earth represents groundedness, stability, and nurturing. It's the roots that provide us with sustenance and stability, often overlooked in our pursuit of endless growth and progress. Water symbolizes emotions, intuition, and flow-it's the deep knowing that transcends logic, yet often dismissed in a world obsessed with measurable outcomes.
Together, these four elements-fire, air, earth, and water-form the basis of creation. They are present in every living being, regardless of gender. Embodying these energies means honoring and balancing both sides within ourselves, irrespective of societal norms.
My invitation to you, if you're experiencing the pains I described earlier, is to reconnect with practices that ground you and allow you to flow. Step away from the constant buzz of technology and achievement-driven goals. Embrace practices that nurture your emotional well-being and connect you with the earth's wisdom.
