I drive down from OC to detect that exact same beach several times a year. I've done well there but it isn't the easiest beach to hunt with all the black sand that is normally there.
@OCBeepDigger I agree. Our sand requires a great detector like the Minelab machines we use and also the skill and ears to hone in on the good stuff over the black sand chatter. It's not easy, I agree.
Congrats on the ring finds. The goats (especially the baby) are adorable! I'm a middle-aged woman completely new to metal detecting. I just ordered a Minelab X-Terra Pro and can't wait to get out and try it. Just waiting on my scoop, which gets delivered Thursday. I liked and subscribed to help your channel.
