A wonderful live performance on Australian ABC TV show with Andrew Denton.
Chris is accompanied here, as he often is, by the wonderful Kenney Dale Johnson.
The song was written by Carlie Rich around 1958 when Charlie was recording at Sun Studio and recorded by him as well as by Jerry Lee Lewis. Many thanks to WendyKS93 for telling me who wrote it and the correct title.

What a voices. Stunning version of a Jerry Lee Lewis's song. How I love Chris's voice.
I am never bored by what they do. I missed all of these oldies when he was listening as a child. We are close in age. Thank God I can hear them now.
Chris you have made your mark on this song wicket man
I can't get over the fact that they did not record it... So I keep listening to this on repeat.
His first 5 albums were so great. Excellent singer songwriter, guitarist. I wish he'd release an album with more of these hidden gems.
That was fucking amazing.
Real Talent....
BOM dia muito linda essa entrevista 😍😍😍♥️♥️♥️
I Love So, Chris Isaak...
Gorgeous singing❤
@WendyKS93 Thanks for the info! It`s great to be able to give the song its correct title and to be able to credit Charlie Rich for this wonderful song. Chris tricked me by slightly changing the lyric! : ) Thanks again. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Co written by Charlie Rich and Bill Justis. Great version of a Jerry Lee classic from 1958.
shivers all over...
This song was written by the great Charlie Rich back in the late fifties and recorded by Jerry Lee Lewis and the correct title is It Hurt me So and Chris does a fantastic version here. Mouldytone I hope this information is helpful to you and thanks for putting it on here. How do I know? I have the original 45rpm release of Jerrys recording. those old songs are still the best.
