- Hanging eucalyptus in your shower is a 2020 trend. I am an esthetician and we have been putting eucalyptus in our steam rooms at spas for years & I also use eucalyptus oil in the shower regularly so I wanted to try this trend. I will go over the pros and cons in my opinion & tell you what I think may be better and more bang for your buck to turn your shower into an eucalyptus steam room right in your home.

The North Africans, Arabs and Turkic people have been doing it for over 18 centuries. First of all those 3 twines are just not enough. Then you have to roll over the leaves to release the aroma and in really hot steamy shower it will start to do it thing.

I agreed with her cause I'm busy with work to buy every week that plant. But I still have time to put on an essential oil spot on the diffuser. I can buy that plant but only one time because after that I'm busy. If i use essential oil, after going back home i can smell the Eucalyptus that I put a few days ago 🤷🏻♀️

Hi Dayna...I am with you on the oil being the better way...they can press the oil where many trees are growing and the oils are inside the leaves and wood and are probably not going to be able to come out as easily while left hanging...
Yeah exactly Dtrain. It’s a cool concept but just not the same as with the essential oils. They are so potent and I just love the smell and benefits of the oils.
Was pondering... what else I could use the leaves for....
@@theoilshift2595...hmmm...I would think to cut the leaves and stems up into a steamer or small crockpot type set-up, would probably send the aroma out big time...what do you think...?...Dan
@@Dtrain-kq8kd i wonder🤔 I don’t know the leaves seem so dry. It’s not like rosemary or something. I bet if you had a rosemary bush in the shower you’d smell it big time! But no more plants in the shower for me. Lol I do put Rosemary oil in my shampoo though. 😊😊😊

Yes we moved 2 years ago. We are in Austin, Texas now. You know Maui is expensive!
