@@MBHpower1in one side there's the gang lead by the current devs, in the other side we have the guys who want a redux (lead by allegedly neo Nazis) and the TNO-RU who's community have a transphobic minority who hate the new devs and the TNO China who just are happy to be there, these groups are constantly attacking each other and spreading questionable information of one another.

And actually Helmut Schmidt was his successor as the Chancellor of Germany.
He was chancellor in the early 70s, he resigned in 1974 after it was discovered that one of his trusted personnel representatives was a spy of East Germany.

Fun fact: one of the guys during the slave revolt negotiations, Vyacheslav Chornovil, was a real life ukrainian politician, who did a lot for ukrainian independence. He even wanted to become a president in 2000 elections, but sadly died in a car accident. Some speculate it was an assassination

The Speer path is honestly the most terrifying. Speer is liberalizing the reich to change with the times, in contrast to the other paths that put you on a slow downfall and even after the game ends you know it wont last long after. It’s terrifying because Speer holds hitlers beliefs closest to his chest and this reich has the best chance at surviving 1000 years. Honestly terrifying that the most conservative nazi is the worst one.
speer doesn't liberalize the reich at all he's a hardcore nazi and is kinda whitewashed rn, and go4 "democratic" path is being reworked so its not the current wholesum 100 democratic burger path

I think I tried Speer's liberal path 4 times.
1. attempt the game broke and the pivot and propaganda thing no longer worked.
2. the mod updated
3. the game updated
4. the game crashed and loading an autosave crashed it, only the save I did at the start of the game worked
Also it’s a really cool part of the mod that 3/4 people of the Gang of Four and the leader of the slave revolt, Willy Brandt are leaders of Germany in our timeline

I prefer the year transitions rather than events, since it gives us a sense of how much time in game has passed. The events are a bit nebulous on that front

Despite the fact you may not be an award winning narrator, it was still very enjoyable.
What basis is there for Speer to have the personality and ideals he has in this mod? Like I get he's not done a sudden total moral 180 and he's still a fascist, but him being so regretful of his actions, mainly the camps, that he's willing to turn on the rest of the NSDAP? I don't know about that. He's still written very much like a Nazi, sure, but like... I'm just not sure his initial stance makes sense.
Personally, I think there should be a mechanic where Speer is willing to make compromises with those who are not so cool with the Nazi ideology until he compromises too much and loses control.
You could use Germans who are documented as having resisted the Nazi regime in small ways who could've survived up until this point. Like Albert Göring, Hermann Göring's based anti-Nazi brother, and Max Schmelling, the former boxing champ and fallschirmjäger who hid two Jewish kids in his home and who refused to cut ties with his Jewish boxing coach which pissed Hitler off.
Albert could be a potential ally in fighting Hermann, but on the condition that he gets a powerful seat in government.
Schmelling could be an influencer that brings stability and war support, but you will drift towards democratic ideology ever so slowly.|
Like that'd be so much easier to manage than the weird "The State of the Reich" mechanic.
I find it somewhat believable. Albert Speer "slipped" into this whole ordeal with the goal of fulfilling his (dystopic) architecture goals. Historic accounts on this are full of lies and propaganda on how he regretted it later on - I myself have no idea which side I believe in on that matter - but on a psychological level it seems plausible for him to regret it later in this fictional world.

I like a lot the new conept, but i think that It Will look better if you do like a snall introduction, saying what Will happend, like when the civil war starts you can say about how instability and others things that happend to make the civil war, and also explaining the compwtotors like herming goring. I played this path. Well, I did some stuff differently, I managed the Oil Crisis better, but still the same ending. Speer becoming a figurehead and the GO4 running the show. There are 2 other endings to Speer. In the first one, he goes full schizo, forgors to get his pills and becomes Fuhrer lile Hitler was, and in the other one his actual vision of the Reich is made, aka milk toast Nazism, aka "maybe what Hitler was doing was bad, so we will not do it, but Germans are still number 1 and hell naw, you ain't getting any democracy from me".
