I have conflicting views on this. I have heard about a man who God showed him he would be a city builder and do great things in another country and God led him there but the man ended up dying from alcoholism. The Lord did give him that position but he himself ruined it. The same thing happened to king Saul. I was wondering what if God sent something but the person was himself not living in obedience and purity at the time and so it went in the other direction? I used to be an alcoholic etc and I think if God brought me a husband and I was still doing that stuff it would have failed but it would not mean that God didn't bring it, it would just mean that I was not living a holy life and God would not be the one to blame. If the testimony tells how he even got into new age, I get that people fall into that but what if that was all the devil bringing temptation to ruin something that God wanted to happen like marriage. Also fornicating before marriage, what if that was not a sign that God did not bring it but again, man falling into temptation which would ruin anything that God has brought we have a responsibilty to steward everything well and if we don't what God wants for us and gives us will fail.
It's just my thoughts on the testimony based on my own life experiences too before God got stricter with me about livivng in purity.

Thanks for watching, this episode was about whatever the Holy Spirit wanted to relay both through him and me. As a leader in both corporate America and in ministry, I always use I to express relatability to others and not authority or judgement. It’s a communication strategy many great leaders use! @@PracticalandPropheticas an outsider looking in, this is a really prideful response & pride doesn’t come from the Lord. There was a point towards the end where he was in the middle of sharing his story & you went off on a REALLY long tangent about the cult you were involved in, to the point that I found myself looking for the fast forward button. It felt like a venting/therapy moment for you vs. a podcast as all of that could’ve all been shared in a succinct way that got right to the point vs. a 15 minute monologue. I def was impressed by Justin’s ability to just sit there listening to all that for that long.
No one is perfect so there is grace for mistakes like that but there should be some humility exhibited to know that you may need to grow your communication style into being more of a dialogue vs. stating you’re an expert & the OP needs to grow in her understanding. 😊

If you didn’t take the worlds right out of my mouth… I found myself terrified about sharing my story, but it was only because I didn’t have God in my life. Texas… Dallas in particular, changed my life as well. I knew it was only the 1st of many cities that God would send me. I’m over 30+ cities now, just trying to do his work 💞💫💫

18:39 while I will always cape for deliverance from depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts, I love God’s tenderness shown here towards his son that was suffering from that. I hate the narrative of “not praying enough” being the reason why some believers struggle both mentally & emotionally, so this right here was validation that depression isn’t a result of poor faith. Life just be life-ing to the extreme at times to where it’s overwhelming to us at humans, and causes some of us to enter these very very low seasons, but God understands us and will forever work to bring us out of that for our good & for His glory.❤️🥹
