Opened: May 24, 2011
Attraction type: Tower swinger
Manufacturer: Mondial
Model: Wind Seeker
Height: 301 ft (92 m)
Speed: 30 mph (48 km/h)
G-force: 1.5
Capacity: 960 riders per hour
Vehicles: 32
Riders per vehicle: 2
Duration: 3 minutes
Height restriction: 52 in (132 cm)
Riders sit in one of 64 seats placed around a central tower, which brings the gondola up and down. A restraint bar is fixed over the rider's lap to keep them firmly in their seat. There is no seat belt across the rider's lap, but there is one from the seat to the restraint bar in case the lock on the restraint bar fails. After the operators determine that it is safe to proceed, the gondola rises to the top of the tower to a musical accompaniment, beginning to spin slowly around the central tower and picking up speed as it ascends further. By the time it reaches the top, it is rotating around the tower at its full speed of approximately 30 miles per hour (48 km/h). The gondola remains at the top of the tower for just over a minute before starting its descent and immediately beginning to slow down. By the time it reaches the bottom of the tower, all rotation has ceased. One cycle of the ride lasts three minutes.

This isn’t as scary as it looks in this video. It is actually a really chill and relaxing ride and has an amazing breeze. Perfect to go on on a hot day because the breeze and wind it creates feels amazing. More of an relaxing ride than scary trust me. And the view on it of the whole park is so beautiful, especially at night seeing all the lights
LoveMeForMe I agree! It gives you a pretty view of the land, especially if you go on night.
But for someone like myself who is a chicken sh*t of heights it would be a nail biter! I mean I would pass out
I love how I’m afraid of heights but my 11 year old self wasn’t 😔😂
Yes. I don't know why that changes. I never was until I got older 🤔
@@whynot2644 because when you start to grow up you recover Conscience about the danger
@@helvetewinter68666 even young children can comprehend the danger of falling several feet.
mmm the best ride AKA Leviathan looks crispy lol
I wouldn't trust these. An inspector severed his hand on the one at Carowinds...
Why do they copy names from kings island ?
Every cedar fair park (owners of both kings island and canadas wonderland) put a wind seeker at every one of there parks. In fact this wind seeker came first so technically they copied the name. But it’s just a clone.
For the same reason they have exact clones of other rides like the Backlot Stunt coaster and the Boo Blasters dark ride, and all the Snoopy themed kids rides. Several parks are owned by the same company.
I'm not afraid of heights but
