yes! I totally agree! The savage Hulk, the stories, and the art work in how he was portrayed. That is always how I remembered the Hulk when I first read the comics back in late 70's and early 80's. I don't like the later renditions of him in comparison. In the movies I think the Edward Norton Hulk is closer to the classic savage that I like.
This is the part of the Hulk I missed when he would somehow connect and establish a rapport with people. Especially with women, kids and teenagers. The Savage Hulk despite his monstrous form often befriended and helped some people. This is the heroic part of the Hulk some people witnessed, one of the most misunderstood heroes in the MU.
Yeah...them some durable jeans . Also the smell of those jeans must be " incredible " . You would think when Hulk changes back to Banner that Banner would discard the torn and funky purple pants , but nope , he keeps them on with all of the Hulks butt crack skid marks . Lol .
The old comic books are the best. Simpler, less convoluted storylines with simpler, less convoluted characters. It's been over 20 years since I bought a comic book.
Has the Hulk grown in recent comics? He's smaller than Sasquatch by a lot here but he's the same size as him in the immortal hulk run when they fought.
Hulk's height has varied over the years. His classic savage, he was at 7' and current immortal/fractured son he ranges 8' to 9'. Just depends on the artists depiction I guess.
Poor Hulk. 😢
I love how the older comics portrayed the Hulk. This was always my favorite version of him.

Hulk does not even start troubles yet he is always dragged into them by outside incursion
"I've studied your case, Doctor"
He should've studied the Hulk more.
BACK WHEN COMICS ACTUALLY HAD GREAT ART AND GREAT STORIES
I had this issue. I had to sell my collection in 1989. Wish I hadn't. I loved those stories.

Ah, the days when comic creators understood what comic readers actually want.
This was one of my favorite issues.
I have this comic. Used to get them once a month.

One of the best fights of the Hulk's Golden Age 🔥🔥🔥

Old days when the Hulk could suffocate and the guy pulling destroyer thought he could fight the Hulk:)
Keep in mind, it was her thinking Hulk could suffocate not proving he was or could.
Sasquatch isn’t a guy…
That's powerful.
VERY GOOD STORI SUPER THAN YOU.
3:11. I think Mel Brooks would want his SpaceBalls helmet back off that solder.
2:14 “What for you bury Hulk in the cold, cold ground?”
Great issue 👏 👌
I remember this fight Sasquatch held his own, but Hulk was just too strong and the fear in their eyes couldn't be ignored
This was a good one
1:03 a round of applause for Hulks pants
