For B1/B2 - the average time is 2 to 3 years and it totally depends on the person. I have heard that some people have learnt German very fast and some take years time to speak even basic level German.

Yes, it’s a public school that’s recommended by the government. It was an integration course - A2&B1 and it costed totally 600 euros. But there is another test- “Leben in Deutschland”. (one needs to pass this test “Life in Germany” to get a German citizenship) If you pass the integration course which I mentioned above and also the life in Germany, then the public school will give you back half of the money i.e 300 Euros.
