Great review on all the heads. I gad to get a crossbow for this year due to mr shoulder. I got the hybrid x and they seem awesome. First time buying Afflictors.
I’ve shot several deer with the k2 series. Never tracked more the 40 yards. My only complaint about the heads is the key drive system. practicing you will break several just keep that in mind. But I’m looking at going fixes head this year I’m curious when you will make a video on those broadheads?
When the drivekey breaks just continue to shoot it broken. Usually one side snaps off first then i will break the otherside off with a pair of pliers. It then becomes my permanent practice tip and it doesn't change the point of impact.
@@zzz7zzz9 no... you press a pin through the blades that holds prevents the blades from deploying. In theory the edge of the blades never contact the target so they dont dull but i still have 2 heads now that are solely for practice.
@@KTMsoldier1988 oh, ok. that kinda sucks. every broadhead made, should have a practice head, especially mechs. broadheads ain't cheap. pretty shitty to have to basically waste one for practicing. now IF a head truly flies, exactly like field points, then realistically, one could just practice with field points. that's essentially what the companies are making it seem like. but ethically, for the animal, that would be just wrong.
Will they shoot out of a crossbow or will they open in flight

@@hauntedoutdoors Absolutely! I'm hoping to record the blood trails, entry and exit holes etc.

Jordan goes over the fixed blade options at the end of the video!

How do the k2 fixed blades fly compared to field points?
With a well tuned bone, they will hit exactly like your field points!
