I love Metricool but I would love to send some feedback on the approval process from the approver side. I feel that the note/comment box for the rejected post feedback part and the post preview should be in the same pop-up instead of a separate one. The client or person needs to see the post at the same time as writing the edits to make sure they provide all the context, for example, copy-pasting a sentence to reference a rewrite of one specific part or video feedback by time stamps. For example, if my client wants to give feedback to the editor correctly they need to tell the video editor at 0:30 change the color of the letter to white. They can only make sure when both things are in the same location and they can go back and forth side by side.
How do I get my clients to approve an entire calendar without sending them individual approval requests per post? From what I understand from this video, if I create 12 posts at once to send to my client, they'll get 12 email notifications for post approval which I'd imagine is quite excessive..
Hi! We're currently working on an update to this video but we have bulk sending now. You just need to go to the list view in the Planner section, select all the posts you want to send for approval, click on bulk actions and then "send to review"
If I were to send posts to be approved to my client on my premium plan, does my client need to create a metricool account of their own, and if so, would a basic free plan allow them to see and approve posts?
Hi Katie! Yes, they would need to create a Metricool plan of their own and then you could give them client access or a specific access of your choosing. They only need the free account on their end to access whatever you specify! :)
Hi Elizabeth, currently at the moment, they will only get a notification if the post is rejected and if they have notes to see. Otherwise, the post will display as approved within the Planner. As this is a newly launched system, we are currently in the works to make some updates. We will take your feedback back to our Product team. :)
@@oliviabacon802 We are currently working on expanding our approval system! Now there is an option when sending a post to review if you want to send an email or not to the collaborator. You could choose to send only one post email prompting them to log in where they will then see notifications in "my tasks" to review multiple posts.
Hello! Yes, clients will need their own account for viewing access if you would like to give them the client role! They can just have a free account though and will inherit the Premium features by being invited.
Hello! So you will need to still link the platforms on your account under the connections page. Once they are added, the client who was invited will have access to view the associated brands. 😁

So to be clear, social media managers get no notification that posts are approved unless they go in to see?

Is there any way to send 1 notification to my client to approve multiple posts? I don’t want to send them multiple emails for each post.

Which plan is this one
Approval system and user roles begin with the Advanced plan. :)
Do clients need to create an acc for viewing access? My client activated the link, but im not sure if they need to sign up too.

How do i add my client? i sent them an invite but i can't see the linked platforms?
