Hey Ernest! This is our opinion: the 7430 has more available torque. The 6170 has more electronic federally mandated emission controls that sometimes we feel robs a little of it's power. Both are very reliable tractors just subtle differences.

They started around here thrusday still wet, went to Eton ,Ohio today they have corn about 4 inch tall
