They are both singers of bands that started out being kickass, but then started lean towards commercialism, and with that started sucking balls.This is pop music at it's purest.

1. Don't bash other metal artists, we must unite! We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together
2. Watch more and more metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list

If Edguy had Sascha Paeth instead of Lens Ludwig they might be able to make an album that's as good as The Wicked Symphony. Ludwig is a capable guitar player, Paeth is a fukking god.

I've seen you post quite a few unsavory things about Jens... it's got me thinking that you have a personal vendetta against the guy? lol... I've never had the pleasure of seeing Avantasia live, but I did see Edguy live, REALLY small venue, probably 100 people a few years ago. Jens was just as good live as Kai Hansen/Henjo Richter who both would shred Sascha Paeth a new hole. I can see where you're coming from, but maybe you've gone a bit far... he's a HUGE cut above the average player.

@ChrislikesJFK Where you think polished, I think overproduced. Music is supposed to sound like it was made by people, and not computers. Where everything is so fine tuned, that it loses it's charm, and rock 'n' roll gets lost. It's the entire point of Opeth's latest release, Heritage, where they wanted to go back to rock music's "earthly" roots.
But this is, of course, just my opinion.

Yeah, you're right. I was overly critical. He is pretty good actually. I was just expecting super fast shred type solos and he has a different style than that. Guess I listened to too much Malmsteen or something. I haven't actually heard much Paeth material, other than Avantasia, so I shouldn't really call him a god. I do like his solos though. I was probably too generous to Paeth actually. He has to prove himself more before he can gain guitar god status. Sorry Jens Ludwig. There, all is well.
