I had a TSX Sport Wagon for 4+ years and replaced it with a Mercedes GLC 300. I sure miss the Sport Wagon. It was under powered but did everything else great. Throwing it into a curve was amazing. Really wish Acura had seen this through with better engines and upgrades.
in Canada, a tank of gas for a V6 is almost $80. I think the 4CYL at 200 HP is awesome. My old RSX had a similar engine to this one and it was really easy on gas and less than half the price on gas :).
I love my 2012 TSX wagon...great seats, sweet revving inline 2.4 motor, fine suspension.....fun to drive. Plus, the 4 banger is lighter than the V6, so the wagon has better balance for handling precision...not nose heavy.
I guess this guy really isn't a car guy seems like he cares more about the technology in this car. He complains about the car not having a V6. Are you kidding me, not having a V6 is a good thing. This thing runs the K24 Honda block (K series). If you want more power it has tons of aftermarket for it like the other legendary blocks B series blocks. Maybe you can get better luxury in a German wagon but enjoy the repair bills and price tag. The rest of us normal people will get the reliable Japanese.
Here I am in 2019, shopping for a used wagon I can haul kids, dimensional lumber, and bikes with, around $15k-ish, with unquestioned reliability, in a non-CPO car. The current offerings are: 1) VW Golf/Jetta Sportwagen TDI or this Acura TSX Sport Wagon. I adore the quirkiness of the VW TDI and love the EPA approved extended emissions warranty, but I'm 6'3" with two tall kids and need something inexpensive and reliable to carry me through the next 10 years...Acura it is.
As an owner of a 2010 TSX V6 TECH, I can say that the number of buttons on the dash and steering wheel is pretty annoying. Honestly, even after close to thirteen years of ownership, I still have trouble remembering what some of the buttons do. Newer Acura models seem to have even more buttons. Acura needs to stop trying to make their car interiors look like the cockpit of a spaceship.
i wouldn't say the mpg is terrible...its basically a civic si engine which performs similarly to some v6's...look at vw's beetle, now that's horrible mpg with not much performance
Because they never sold enough to really have a market for a V6. Acura wagons were only sold for like 3 model years, before they realized sales weren’t good. Knowing Honda they probably would’ve experimented with touring V6 trim level if they had sold a fair amount
The acura wagon was actually highly underrated. Sold for like 4 model years and was cancelled due to lack of sales. I guarantee if they had sold a bit better, Honda would’ve offered the V6 in touring trim most likely. But, it never made it that far!
Acura/honda bored the shit out of me. They used to pioneer the best tech and cars, now they bore me to tears. 5 speed auto? That awful nav still after 5 plus years!!!! Come on!!! Ugly plastic cars like the civic, pilot, ugly tl...ughhh
Nice daily double duty real world car. However darn near all packages that bring cool to any car is a prop job. Example going to the 2.8 in a c class that's an inline 6 cracks you for 5,6k but you pick up passenger pwr seat and up tic in sound. Escape want a navie cool at discount 4K, gulp. Why 4K cause you need a package that gets you dual climate yippie..... ever sit in an escape? Rear camera and rear crash alarm. For a truck this size all stupid why stupid cause who's spending 4K for a 100$
Compared to mercedes or audi wagons at the time, the Acura was like 15K cheaper. In that sense, it was a good alternative that saved on gas while offering a more practical honda!

I always loved these Acura Wagons!
Acura, bring us a new wagon please!!!

A modernist approach to car review
RCR/10

How do you like it?
I respect you for not disliking the video. Any troll that hates Acura would dislike the video.
"Here in the hood" had me doing a double take. I'm dead!
SHOUT OUT PINK FLOYD - ANY COLOUR YOU LIKE - GREAT psych rock tune always takes me somewhere else 7:05

The 3 Series is still sold as an estate (wagon) in the US.

Majority of Volkswagens offer not much power with lack of fuel efficiency as well.
Love what you’ve done to your wagon. Do you mind sharing what you did to yellow the daytime running lights? Looks awesome
2 more days, cant wait for the new show coooooley
Do they make them in a 6 speed manual because we have a 2008 tsx with a 6 speed manual
5-speeds are great for most cars, esp one like this i think
I hate the front grill on the 'acura' compared to the front grill on the accord euro. why can't they all be branded the same ?
The illusion of choice....kind of....
Blake.TV
Yeah but why aren't they the same branding?
Dunno.
Stigma, just stigma. Honda's aren't necessarily viewed too positively as luxury cars, or at least that is what Honda thinks.
Also, it seems fairly easy to import Euro or JDM parts, which could help with the aesthetics.
yes he needs to do this ... I think I might buy one.
more wagon please ;)
Why does this remind me of an infomercial from the era this video was uploaded 😂
I'm not convinced. The MDX is the car aimed at the soccer moms
I've been looking for a tsx wagon what's the technology package. If anybody knows the one with low miles please send me details
Brian, what car do you drive?
Great car. Go Acura!!
Too bad it only sold for 3 years
Didn't he review this car already?
Cooley when will you do a Nissan Altima 2013?!!!!
Remember when Acura was ahead in Tech? What the hell happend? And the MPG is terrible for a 4 banger. That's more like 300 HP V6 MPG
Brian should review his own car
why no v6!??
Because they never sold enough to really have a market for a V6.

thumbs up if you want him on top 5 again
Perfect car to hide weed, thanks Acura
No Lexus ever came as a wagon in the US. The closest thing to a Lexus wagon in the US was the 3rd generation Camry V6, and that was fairly ugly.
The acura wagon was actually highly underrated.
Sold for like 4 model years and was cancelled due to lack of sales.
I guarantee if they had sold a bit better, Honda would’ve offered the V6 in touring trim most likely. But, it never made it that far!
I see Acura still can't make a good interior
Where's the spare tire ?
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the cars, but it's still a good review.
he did

All-in-all, it's just another brick in the wall!
id just get the sedan
And this is why we can't have nice things. You're a technology reviewer, not a car magazine
Cnet never replies to any of the comments!!!
I am sure he really really doesnt give 2 shits mate
