I have struggled to cut off pornography and all the things that go with that. I have been successful for a year and a half. I have found that it is 100 times harder to not commit adultery in my mind. It is a daily struggle and seems very hopeless. How can i be saved when i have such horrific thoughts and adultery in my heart? It seems impossible to overcome.

Pray unceasingly. Say without pause Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner. If you can’t say it in some situation then say it in your mind. If you fight your whole life then Christ will save. Don’t despair. May our Lord and God Jesus Christ help you. Amin.
