    Such a great how to video. Kind of love that Dr. Kwon isn't making hundreds of these in his garage and selling them for $99.99 + shipping & handling. After all he is a biomechanist who is passing along his discovered knowledge ... not a snake oil salesman. Much Thanks Dr. Kwon, subscribed!!

    Man, I love this video. The Rope Swing is an essential building block to a golf swing. Even applicable to a baseball swing. Buying a spool is great, but if you're simply looking for 7' of 3/4" double braided nylon rope... Marine supply stores should be able to cut you to size. Peace.

    Dr Kwon thanks for all the great golf swing videos. A breath of fresh air in the overly complicated world of golf instruction. Just curious, you mentioned you cut rope to 7 foot / 5 iron lengths. The 7 foot rope doubled up would make for a 42" swing length (4 wood). Obviously you can choke down 4 inches to approx 5 iron. But is the shorter 5 iron length better for developing swing motion?

    • @drkwongolf
      @drkwongolf  2 роки тому +1

      You can try different lengths by choking it up. The longer, the more difficult.

    Purchased a rope from Blue Ox in the cool black/gold color scheme. You can probably get one at Home Depot, etc for $1.60 ft or so. But the Blue Ox is way much cooler and they have quick free shipping.

    • @jeffjones9685

      NO, home depot only has the twisted nylon, which will leave welps!

  • @LetterRip1
    @LetterRip1 2 роки тому +1

    Since 3/4 inch braided nylon is scarce locally - would I be better off with 5/8 (.625) Nylon braided; 3/4 (.75) inch twisted Sisal (a rough fiber, less flexible); or 3/4 (.75) inch twisted polypropylene (yellow synthetic, less flexible).
