Awesome show. There are some really nice cars here. Cool not seeing just the usual Mustangs Camaro’ and Vettes. Brought back memories for sure. Thanks.
When is the next one? This is genius and good to see folks keep them alive. Because honestly that era was the last cars made with class, power, and sophistication. These cars were well made. Every one of them are solid. Running or not they hold their own.
They just had the 5th one. It’s the last weekend of July every year in Cleveland. I have a video of it too on my channel.
Love g bodies. Because every gm car brand made their own version and each had different trim levels. Base, luxury, performance. My favourite though was the el Camino, oldsmobile 442s and Hurst olds, buick grand national and monte carlo ss. As iconic as the GN is I like the look of 442 and Hurst olds better. But nothing can compete with grand national.

I grew up with many of these. But the best was my neighbors 1984 i believe oldsmobile cutlass luxury trim level, modified with 9 inch ford rear end, built 350 sbc bore out to a 355ci big carbs,tunnel ram intake long tube headers, down pipe to high flow mufflers with side dumps, six point rollbar, 5 point harness, reverse manual valve body powererglide, racing steering wheel guages etc. Sitting on skinnies and big fat dot approved drag radials. And had a 150 shot of nitrous. Thing hauled ass for a budget build i remember him launching and always shuffling down the road lol. Stock suspension and shocks
I had a black 87 cutlas with t-tops 307. It would get a 2nd gear scratch with 110,000 miles on it..

And not one car leaving the show did a straight launch. Lmfao g body shuffle. Love these cars for cheapness and variety. But the stock suspension and shocks sucked if you wanted to build it up.
They didn’t want anybody doing burnouts or anything goofy. It’s one of the one of those “someone ruined it for everyone things”
Looks like the oldest "Classic" at this show was about an `86. Not very classic at all if you ask me. Age alone (25 yrs or older) does NOT constitute a "classic".
The name Classic Gbody Garage is from a UA-cam channel. But in most states from a legal stand point anything 25 years or older is a classic no matter the make. Far as the show (2021) goes, anything from 78-88 was there. The show this year was over 250 cars. These cars are highly sought after now.
