If not Hull....give Celeste Taylor a shot...she was Big Ten defensive player of the year. Actually all the players should get some playing time unless hurt. You want a well rounded team who can count on every player on your team.

If AB can figure out the pick and roll. Positioning and setting more solid screens she will just open up the whole game. She even mentioned how CC is telling her positioning and what not. And one thing we saw early is her misreading the pick and roll.
This game it looked like she ifgured it out.

Nalyssa Smith is a necessary, talented, and very dedicated player trying to keep her team win.
Don't use your bias to insinuate that shed ever compromise her team because of a personal relationship with a player on another team.
That's not how the W works.
Instead, thank Dijonai for helping CC see that she needed to be specific with reporters, and denounce tge people being racist in her name.

Adrienne, I've learned a TON from watching your videos. Thank you!! 👍🏻😀👍🏻 😊😊
In the one example you showed where AB is boxing out, I think that Mitchell actually is, too? Go girls! So many people have criticized Mitchell, even saying, "Oh she hates Caitlin!" (like they know! 🤦🏼‍♀️) but there seems to be a certain sweetness evident in Mitchell; I dunno...There's just something there about her that I want to give a chance to. My opinion - obviously conjecture, since I don't know her motivation - is that maybe it's just taken awhile to get to where she trusts Caitlin? She missed training camp, so she had to come right in to a game situation, having been kinda the team star last year and maybe not really understanding what her place is now. Maybe she's learning that CC is no threat to her and can actually be a great teammate, and friend. I hope so!

They're playing great, but they need to box out more, hustle to the ball, and I've seen a lot of standing around! If you re-watch that game... Caitlin was flying in to grab those boards! Those practices are dying WONDERS for their team! They need to let Caitlin be the point guard at all times when she's in the game... Kelsey gets that ball, and you might not get it back! Having watched all the games, I believe that starting with the Carter flagrant foul, the significant thing that happened was the Matt Barnes, Austin Rivers, Gil Arenas and some prominent women athletes retired, all called out her teammates and asking where are you to have your teammates back. The fans can say it, but other professionals saying it carries a different weight. And it was the 2nd, Chicago game that I saw positive signs. Not only did all rush to Caitlyn after the Reese flagrant, but starting that game I started to see them all smile, and acknowledging whenever a good play was made. I had not really seen that until that game. I am sure with the whole team and the brutal schedule against the best teams and getting whacked, didn't allow for much of that. But now getting some practice in between games, that's allowed them to understand and get better at fundamentals. But of course, success breeds success.

I'm an Iowa native, a Hawkeye ('83) and my wife and I only started watching the WNBA because mostly of Caitlin, but also Kate Martin, but Aliyah Boston won over our hearts, which started when she was hired to be a commentator at this years past Women's NCAA Final Four tournament. Aliyah has such a captivating personality, and it was a big plus to learn about her faith, that it's so easy to support her and be a fan of her, so it was painful to watch her struggle with her confidence. What we see now, is the real Aliyah Boston, her shining light is is breaking through that old basket for the whole world to see. This is what "tough" basketball is truly looks like: playing hard, playing fair with grace, dignity, humility, and pride, always looking to support and your teammates, unlike the thuggery that seems to be posing as "tough" on so many of the WNBA teams. When women who think they are men, try to act like men in the way they see "worldly" men act, they do come off as thugs, but since they can't see or have a relationship with the Creator's spirit, all they know is the spirit of the adversary (satan) so they are never exposed to how a true man of GOD actually behaves and acts in righteousness in all situations, the toughness that comes with God's love at its core.

They’re doing better but they still have a ways to go. There’s still some selfishness but it’s getting less and less. Winning Team basketball is about starting and keeping your best 5 players on the floor as much as possible and not letting favoritism get the better of you. I know everyone wants to play but there’s a reason why the starters are starters and role players are role players.

I think someone from their coaching staff has been watching your videos and getting them back to the players. Bc the turn around and the things they needed to do such as better screens, blocking out and having each other’s back has exponentially improved in such a short time. I accidentally watched a Fever vs Mystics game from last year. However, I’m glad it happened bc the team from last year looked like a descent college team. This year’s Fever vs Mystics game looked like professionals.

AB’s confidence and professionalism should have brought her to the beginning of the season in shape. She entered the season seriously lacking in conditioning so, she can go take a seat with comments. This is the same AB who laughed in CC’s face when CC got hip checked during a game. The game is not won in press conferences but on the court. AB should try defending CC on the court where it matters and practice setting effective screens. AB does not get a pass from me. She is the biggest body on the team, she needs to continue to her job!
Mitchell’s body language sucks during press conferences. How about she sit up and look interested.

I’m so shocked by the WNBA players reactions to Clark’s arrival in the league. The thuggery and hatefulness directed toward Clark, THEIR MEAL TICKET, IS apparent and appalling!
Especially since most of these women went to college and should have some financial understanding or awareness that professional basketball is a “BUSINESS NOT JUST A GAME!” These women are being “PAID to PLAY by the FANS WHICH INCLUDE CLARK FANS (LIKE IT OR NOT) who watch them and buy their merchandise too!”
If they do not understand this is MORE than JUST a GAME THIS IS A BUSINESS and their actions have negative consequences on the BUSINESS… you would think, their agents, coaches, and the league commissioner would EXPLAIN this to them!
Clark is drawing thousands of new fans to watch them play too! When these players are telling these fans “to go away” because you don’t like to hear what they are saying when you ARE acting like a spoiled child you should get what you deserve! Benched until you learn to act like an ADULT and PLAY like an ADULT!
What is good for CLARK IS GOOD FOR THE WNBA AND THESE WHINER SHOULD REALIZE IT OR GO PLAY OVERSEAS where THEY BELONG!

Again, enjoyed your commentary, was waiting for it:) I appreciate you giving stat report on the players that got significant minutes in this one. It helps highlight each players impact for this team. As you know, Clark’s 5 points in 14 seconds was right after Mystic’s had tied the game, momentum switch, and we know b-ball is a game of momentum. Her rebounds often converted to open paint points, this can be one of their strengths against tough opponents. In this one, Mitchell was an offensive assassin and AB owned the paint, completely frustrating the opponent. Also, Ariel Atkins was a problem, Sides tried some different defensive options and Wheeler in the 4th slowed her down. That charge she took on a made basket was a big play and again momentum stopper for Mystic’s. It was good to see Wheeler have a good game and significant contributions on offense and defense, her assists were in 4th at key times. Mystics are a better team then their record reflects, good personnel and really well coached. I love your channel and enjoy talking basketball, so I hope your good with me adding my 2 cents. I don't think it's that Boston corrected Clark, but the tone in which she corrected her. Us non-fans who are just getting into the game were listening to the talk about how little Clark was liked by other teams, her coach and her teammates. As a result, I would have expected Boston's comment to be snarky and angry (even though I know nothing about her). But it is like you said, earlier in the season Boston probably wouldn't have said anything, but as the team gels and her confidence reasserts itself, she felt comfortable correcting Clark in a playful manner and new fans get to see a little clearer who Aliyah Boston is as a person. They could end up as a really dynamic partnership.
Also, I finally saw the Brink ACL news and I am gutted. I originally was only following the Fever, but was just beginning to follow the Sparks because of Brink.

It's the "no dribble" by Boston that was meaningful to me because all too often she puts the ball on the floor under the basket and loses the opportunity. I really don't like most of the shows on TV and the "big name" podcasts because they are more about generating conflict, talking about contracts, speculating about personalities, making "dead certain" predictions that are most often wrong etc. Meanwhile Adrienne is here talking basketball and bringing people to understand things that are happening on the court. I guess some people like to hear all that other stuff and controversy but I like hearing a knowledgeable person cover things like how to get better coming off screens, being aware of the importance of positioning your feet and your body weight to get better at quickly moving your feet in order to play better defense, how to move and position better without the ball when you're on offense etc. A really great job and a pleasure to listen to Adrienne.
