      Hi, you are welcome! I wanted to do a video about legato since a long time since ...sooner or later I will do it....Actually, the thumb goes up and down according to where the other fingers are, in terms of high or low strings and high or low position of the hand in the fingerboard...hard to explain with a message...
      Thank you for your suggestion!

    How would you describe the playing feel of this unit? The latency may nit be insignifficant (i have eatched your latency comparisons.. Very interesting resukts and great hard work from you, sincerely appreciated)
    All in one poweramped units are still in its inception, and aside of Blackstar amoed 2 there is only HK Black spirit floor 200 that inckude amp as well as the effects in a compact all in 1 package, which interests me a LOT

    Buongiorno.

    Hey Leo, great demo tune. I can understand no stereo effects, it's a guitar amp, guitars are not stereo. It's not a studio effects processor even tho it can be used as an interface but I'm pretty sure that is not how it's marketed. So your take on dwelling on stereo effects is irrelevant. That's not what this is for. On stage simple minimalist gigging setup is it's strong suit.
    All that being said and your always meticulous reviews, the fact this doesn't have a ground lift or noise reduction circuit makes this way over priced. If I were still touring I'd never even consider something like this. What a shame!

    Your demo songs are always interesting and entertaining. This was no exception. Have always felt like this product was a ripoff of the BluGuitar Amp1. But, Blackstar makes killer products and this no exception. I agree with another comment on that it's a shame they limited the amp models and didn't tap into other models, but that's always something that can come in a model 3 of this unit. Great review Leo. God bless and rock on 😎🎸👍

      People are never satisfied, there is only so much you can do with a unit this size, and they did planty with this thing. It's a 100w fucking amp with 3 voices and lots of cabs wich is on it's own amazing to me. Also- to me it's more about quality than quantity, I'd rather have 3 Ok sounding amps than 15 bad ones as is almost always the case with modeler amps.

    Ciao Leo. A me sto aggeggio piace però non lo comprerei solo perchè non ha i preset. Fanno le macchine "All in one" e poi c'è sempre qualcosa che manca. Tra l'altro l'unità è completamente MIDI quindi da un punto di vista software non è che si sarebberro ammazzati di fatica. Se ci devo aggiungere una pedaliera esterna per avere i preset siamo punto e a capo. Io canto e suono e quindi di schiacciare più di un pulsante per cambiare suono non se ne parla. Aggiungo: Essendo solo in modalità manual, o pedal che dir si voglia, manca un boost di volume per i solo. Vedo dai commenti in giro che molti la pensano come me.

    • @LeoGibsonGtr
      @LeoGibsonGtr  Рік тому

      Ciao Marco, si, in effetti la mancanza dei preset è un punto negativo anche per me... da quanto ho capito comunque la macchina ha 3 preset registrati...solo che per cambiarli bisogna usare uno switch sul retro dell'Amped 2 (inutilizzabile live)... e non ho trovato il midi message associato...in effetti con un firmware upgrade potrebbero introdurlo.
      Grazie del messaggio!

      @@LeoGibsonGtr Hi Leo, I bought the Amped 2 a couple of week ago and I wanted to clarify a thing in order to aid the other users. The toggle switch behind the device can change only the 3 CAB uploaded but can't change the AMP preset. The device can't store amp preset (at least can't do it now. Maybe with a future upgrade...). The only way to use it live is to add a MIDI CC Footswitch controller. This, in my opinion, is the real bummer. as @marcob.1915 said previously, Blackstar released an "all in one device" that it is not so All in one! I you want to go from a CLASSIC crunch to a USA clean you can't without a MIDI board.
      Despite this characteristic the Amped 2 sounds really good at my hear and with a midi FC could be a real killer device for those who doesn't want to lose theirseves in the maze of amps and effects that a modern modeler offers.
      Great video Leo, as always

    • @LeoGibsonGtr
      @LeoGibsonGtr  Рік тому +2

      Hi, it depends from your habit. In my case, I never use noise reductions, as I prefer to use the volume knob of my guitar....I like to use the volume knob and to change the way I pick, and sometimes noise gates cut my notes, for instance when I intended to play softly...therefore I ended up never using noise gates. On the other hand, if you use really high gain tones and you prefer something that cuts automatically the noise...you can add a noise gate.
      Thank you!

    Bit of a shame about the mono effects.

      I think the general idea is that they give you something that isnt terrible that provides a good starting off point to tweak and dial in the sound and tones to your own tastes and preferences.
      I remember the early days of multi-effects units and modellers of the 90s and early 00's where a lot of the stock patches just sounded extremely extremely janky. you just spent an entire day editing patches when you bought one and plugged it in.
