What I would love to see, and no one ever does, is the half face of dupes and half face of originals wear test. Nobody ever shows how it all looks over the whole day. My issue with dupes is the longevity is never as good as the higher end, and i would find it very helpful to see if this can be disproved with some products.
I think Pampered Wolf has done that in the past and does this today

Totally agree…specially with foundations, I have never tried a drugstore foundation that’s comparable to any of the high ends ones I have that lasted longer…None of them did…

I have had such great luck with the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray that I am just going to stick with it. It works so well, particularly around the eye area, as in concealer. My concealer looks exactly the way it did when I put it on, 10 hours later. Def going to try the lipstick and the brow gel as I have NEVER found a brow gel that I have loved, so I am really looking forward to that. I did get it right but honestly think they both look great and probably just got lucky on my guess.

I too have both lip products. To be totally truthful I bought the YSL lipstick because I loved the container - it was just so lux that I had to have it. The LOREAL Glow Paradise Lipstick is the better product. I wish I could take the Loreal product and put it into the YSL container.

The finest mist on a setting spray I have found is the Benefit Porefessional Super Setter.
I guessed correctly, and i do prefer the expensive side. I will try some of the dupes, i absolutely love the ABH brow gel, CT setting spray and I've been using the glow recipe hue drops and it looks great on my light skin but they need more shades.

Hi Gemma! I ordered the Maybelline brow gel gel as soon as it was released on Amazon & I love it too!!! My daughter & I went on a long weekend trip for Mother’s Day & her 30th birthday fell on Mother’s Day , I had that brow gel on driving through the California & Arizona desert!!!! The first night we all passed out & my brows were still holding in place!! I was shocked! Definitely the best brow gel I’ve used! I love the L’Oréal lipstick too & the Elf bronzing drops! I passed the Elf setting spray because I have a bunch, no you’re making me want go get it!!!!😃

Thank you Gemma, I love a good dupe!! I’ve just ordered two of the L’Oreal lippies and the Maybelline brow gel. I would have got the ELF setting spray but couldn’t find it here. Will definitely look it up on my next visit to the UK. By the way I thought the dupe side looked better as your skin looked more matte in my opinion, and I preferred the more lighter lippie of the dupe xx

I have the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. I also have the elf _coconut_ dewy setting spray. The CT one has a weird scent, but the elf coconut one smells really nice. You can guess which one gets used more frequently... 😏
Fab video and you look great - I thought the dupe side was the expensive side (might have to do some online shopping)!! Would love a tubing mascara video (affordable vs high end/overall best) as I'm thinking of buying one and trust your opinion
I got it right but I had to back up the video to take another couple of looks. I think the setting spray gave it away for me. The Elf was a bit dewier than the CT. Both sides look really wonderful! 👍🏻
I normally don't really mind a fragrance/taste to a lipproduct, but I had to throw the L'oréal balm out because it made me so nauseous. So if you have the option, I'd say give it a sniff before you buy to check if you are ok with it, cause it does linger 😅
I chose the left side as the dupes only because I could just about see the pinkier shade of lipstick. Otherwise cant tell at all. Brilliant

I just love the YSL lipstick (balm). The texture and pop of color are exactly what I want, it’s not thick or sticky and no too over the top shiny. I’d prefer reapplying to YSL changing anything. I do like the L’Oréal balms, but they don’t have has many complimentary shades for my skin tone.

Hi, I’m in French and in France the Maybelline´s brow gel is not available yet, 🤞🏼. I would love to try the setting spray, I will purchase it in my next ELF’s order. Regarding the D-bronzi dupe, I’m not sure because I use it to mix with foundation too light. Thanks ❤

I got it wrong! I couldn’t see any real difference on your face but just thought the dupe side looked slightly more refined. But I definitely think the dupe bronzing drops look much nicer on your shoulder - the Drunk Elephant side looks a bit more orange. Excellent video, very informative and helpful, thanks!

Im a higher end brand user. While other brands are more affordable they dont perform the same. Some eye and lip products are ok but foundation, blush, etc cant shade match and tend to cause break outs on my more mature skin!

I’ve never subscribed to Beauty Pie as I don’t think I would use it enough to makeup up for the price. I just received the Mimi CT setting spray. I had purchased Mac Dewy Setting spray and it’s not cheap: it’s horrible. The spray is horrible and it’s so greasy feeling. I can’t wait to get the YSL bronzer stick and try it. My money goes towards medical grade skincare, but also am finding that the more expensive makeups are so much better for my soon to be 63 more mature skin. I’ve got to try some of those dupes. Thank you sweetie for always bringing us great content. Would you do more skincare videos on products.?
