This game is a damned affront to nature. I wanted to love it, honestly. But it has more issues than I can remember from any other in the series. And I've had 15, 17, 19, as well as all the mobile versions.

Also the only way to get spruce trees in game is to use a tree planter and then wait for them to grow.

There is a logging area on elm creek by the Sawmill. It has small all the way to big pine.

You can plant spruce though which is cool. So if you want to setup next time you can plant a few and then fast forward through growth
