- Happy Thanksgiving Everyone ! These are the Nisaan Patrols Y61, 1998-2016, that are Nissan's 5th generation Patrol made to follow modern amenities besides the safety feature concerns.
The Patrol is a worthy rival to Toyota's all-conquering Land Cruiser dynasty. If you get the right version, the Nissan is fantastic off-road and dependable. It was the first Patrol to be the sleek designed, following the global aesthetic expectation. When it comes to standard GU fitments, nothing is out of the ordinary. In fact, earlier versions are very sparsely equipped, with only cloth seats and an AM/FM radio. Dealers had some nice accessories, such as a bull bar designed specifically for the model, but the best feature was the vehicle's inherent ability to handle the roughest bush tracks. That includes hardware such as the long-travel coil suspension and live axles at each end. Initially offered with 4.5- and 4.8-liter petrol engines, 2.8-, 3.0-, and 4.2-liter turbo-diesel engines, and 4.2-liter turbo-diesel intercooler engines that was neither quick nor refined, things improved significantly in 2001 with the introduction of a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that was no less economical but performed better and quietly. However, those with the custom TB engines are dramatically race-car followers, like in the Middle East regions.
I really wish these were running the USA roads today, and expect to get into many back on my native coast, Haiti, or the Eastern Hemisphere.

I grown-up seen my uncle owns this nissan patrol i love the car. He bought 2 of them. 1 in 2002 then again another 1 in 2014. I love the car to this day. Never owned one yet but hopefully my first car will be the Nissan partol. Real Sh*t

I absolutely loved my nissan patrol safari in abu dhabi. Nissan has completely lost its way now. The y62 is nothing compared to the y61. Toyota will have a y61 equivalent in the landcruiser 250 but still no refreshed y61. Nissan leadership are doddering old fools since Ghosn left.

Awesome video bro I got the 98 rd28t grown up in country Australia had the the LandCruiser and the patrol that's why I've got one now there hands down the best rig on the planet imo everyone got em down here definitely wouldn't have trouble getting in one where I live up far north Qld bro you can do tours up to the cape in em 🤙🏻
