Some great songs to react to would be “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” by Gordon Lightfoot “Cat’s in the Cradle” by Harry Chapin “The Living Years” by Mike + The Mechanics “No Bravery” by James Blunt
It appears my UA-cam channel is being suggested by your channel. Thank you Maggie Renee. Pray your New Year is blessed and peaceful. Next up on my list to talk about Under the Influence.
This was an April Fool’s video. No female butts were objectified in the making of this video. I just love this…they must have had sooo much fun doing this! Even their goofy videos are done with perfection.
They actually made it a point to not show ladies butts because they didn't want to be disrespectful towards women. And that dude with the overalls at the end, man, you just can't unsee that! 😂
This is why we love these goofballs. They are excellent vocal artists, but they *never* take themselves too seriously. These guys just recently did their latest "goofball" video, but now that has to wait til next year LOL...it's a cover of the 1967 Hit for Stevie Wonder "What Christmas Means to me"...the boys turn it into Christmas JOY. You'll love it....they are so endearing aren't they ?
This is the most hilarious reaction I've seen, PERIOD! You never know what Home Free will come up with next. Wait till you see 'Champagne Tastes on a Beer Budget'. You'll laugh your head off!!🤣
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new Voiceplay video reaction I just posted? Will you be there for my 195K Subscriber Celebration Live Stream tomorrow?
They made MILLIONS of people smile and LAUGH. And they did an AWESOME Video while they did it. And this just shows people. When you NEVER expect them to do something like this,,,,, THEY DO. And did so with a smile. LOL, thanx for finally watching this. And what did ANYONE expect from a song literally called The Butts Remix. We as viewers walked right into this one. LMAO!!!
The many sides of Home Free. Serious, respectful, awe-inspiring one minute. The next minute, making you laugh and going "I don't believe they did this". For another laugh, check out their cover of "Never Gonna Give You Up". Perhaps it's especially funny to me because I'm old enough to actually remember the 1980's and Rich Astley's original video. Tim and Austin are just so funny in "Never Gonna Give You Up". While I laughed my way through that video, the harmonies are unreal.
My favorite scene from the video? Just after the "Ham Sandwich" line where Tim is in the background REALLY enjoying his sandwich. Once I noticed that, I always look there when watching the video.
“What are they doing?” They’re having fun, that’s what! Lol! Everyone needs to have fun once in a while, and they’re doing it using their singing in their own special, unique version!
Maggie. If you held a note as long as you held your mouth open when the video opened, you would need oxygen. That was the funniest, best, most graphic reaction to anything I've seen anywhere. ROFLMAO
This Butts Remix is a lot of fun. Tim again hits some serious bass notes in these songs. More of their humour is displayed in their cover of All About The Bass and an original song Full Of Cheer. Happy New Year 🎇
Maggie, they are the same guys we know and love! You know how much they like to have fun. Just hone in on the transitions and how they sprinkle each song throughout all the other songs! Genious arrangement!
I flat out laughed when I realized you'd be listening to this. The only butts they showed in this were theirs. And they still do all the songs that well.
They like to have fun too. Have u seen the All About that Bass or Fishing in the dark/Boondocks mashup videos?? Also have a few funny Christmas songs: Full of Cheer. Others that are just fun: Hillbilly bone, Honky tonk, Quarantine and I Swear.
Girl, where have you been? Home Free have a wicked sense of humor, especially Tim. You have to check out Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer, Champagne Taste {On a Beer Budget}, Working for a Living, Hillbilly Bone, and so many more. Another B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L reaction. Hope you will have a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
@@maggiereneemusic I think I'm caught up on everything recent and have been going back through your earlier ones I haven't watched, still a lot to catch up on.
Yay! Happy New Year, Mama Skittle! I’m so excited to finally see your reaction to this! I became a Home Fry after subscribing to Chris Rupp’s (my favorite tenor) channel a year ago. After watching him breakdown his video baby (this) 😂 LOL, I fell head first down the Home Free rabbit 🐇 🕳 hole. Home Free has the best sense of humor, just priceless, one of many reasons us Home Fries love them. In the behind the scenes, the video directors (the Hound + the Fox, and Jimmy Bates) were laughing hysterically during the 🥪 bit! 😂
I love this. They don't take themselves so seriously like other groups. They have fun and still sound amazing! This is why we love them - they are just like us. They are great!!! They love you! You need to watch Champagne Tase on a Beer Budget. You were having a great time!!!!
This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level.
This is actually one of my favorite "old" videos of theirs.(and I am old enough to be their mother, and possess a large butt.) If you go watch some of the original artist videos, you will see they are imitating a lot of their scenes. They do an awesome job, especially considering they are totally a cappella. These guys are so much fun, and so very talented!
This is the genius of Home Free. One minute, they are singing a beautiful gospel song like How Great Thou Art. Then the next minute they are covering R&B like Boyz to Men's End of the Road. Then they cover a pop song with the original artist, like American Pie, and finally finish up with a comedy mix like The Butts Remix. They sung all of the songs brilliantly in this Remix, but to me, their cover of Queen's Fat Bottom Girls was perfect. The guys all have a great sense of humor to go along with their amazing talent. A couple of other Christmas giggles can be seen in their videos of Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer and also thier Full of Cheer is hysterical. Happy New Year to you, Maggie, and to all of her followers.
@@maggiereneemusic I did like it. Very nice reaction. The next one you need to react to is Home Free's version of the classic Percy Sledge song "When a Man Loves a Woman". Great harmonies and Adams Beat boxing in it is spot on. Austin sings the lead and is perfect, really singing his soul out. Give it a listen, you will fall even deeper in love with them, I promise.
Chris pointed out that all of the women were friends of his sister, and that they were very careful in making sure the only butts in the video were the men’s. It was a funny idea from Chris, Layne from voiceplay helped with the arrangement, and tim shows off some of his beatboxing during rob’s solo (it actually took some convincing from Chris to get everyone else to agree lol)
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new Voiceplay video reaction I just posted? Will you be there for my 195K Subscriber Celebration Live Stream tomorrow?
This just means you gotta react to more Home Free, you clearly dont know em enough! You'll still love them as much as before (if not more), promise! 😂😂
Maggie, I loved your reaction and how thrown off you were. I have never seen you so shocked you didn't do any analysis even Robs whistling. You made this even more fun thank you🍑.
Your hat, girl. 🤣 You should check out their "All About The Bass" cover. It's another one where they're making fun of themselves instead of other people. And their cover of the "Dance" song from trolls uses the same group of models. (Honestly they do so much funny stuff that I shouldn't try to put it all in one comment.)
Absolutely loved your reaction! 😁. I was so glad when I first saw this myself, because I was looking for an Adam solo, and a lead vocal from Chris because they are my favorite tenors! I was like finally, so happy! 🙌. I’m so glad I I saw Chris’ explanation of this before watching it. He has such a fun sense of humor. 😂 He explained that they wanted to be respectful, so the only booty closeups are their own and Rob’s friend, Beugs with jeans on. They are always respectful to any women that participate in their videos. I became a Home Fry not only when I heard their vocals, but also when I learned how respectful and fun the Home Free guys are with everyone. This is why they are my favorite band. 🥰
As already mentioned, Layne Stein arranged this with the Rupp Brothers. There is a real freindship between the members. When Home Free and the Oak Ridge Boys performed Elvira that was arranged by Tim Foust and Geoff Castellucci. Chris Rupp, Rob Lundquist and Tim have all appeared in VoicePlay videos and in Home Free's video, Story of My Life, Adam Rupp is wearing a VoicePlay t-shirt in one of the scenes. After winning the SingOff, Home Free was obligated to headline the SingOff Tour; Voiceplay was chosen by the producers as one of the acts to join Home Free on a month long tour.
You did notice that this is one of their earliest videos made back in 2015 right? They were having fun and being as silly as possible with this. It has been one of my favorite videos of their's for years. lol
It may have been a shock for you...but you will notice it was never disrespectful to women. When they showed butts, they showed there own. It really showed their playful side.
Don't be too hard on them, the opening with Tim and Austin is a parody of the opening of Sir-Mix-a-Lot's music video, and it was an April Fool's release. Most of the other scenes are also also reminiscent of the music videos of the original singers, but the scenes were altered to avoid objectifying women. Instead they objectify themselves in the transition to 'Fat Bottomed Girls'. The guy in the final sequence wearing the overall shorts replaced a similarly sized woman in a swimsuit from one of the original videos. The video is, in a way, a subtle critique of the originals. The arrangement itself was quite amazing. The tempo throughout this medley is uniform, but the original songs were NOT the same tempo, and they managed to weave the lyrics of the different songs together at various places throughout and revisit them all in the final seconds. It is really impressive and really funny.
Welcome to the fun side of Home Free! After this definitely check out: All About That Bass Never Gonna Give You Up (yeah the Rick Roll one) Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer
Something to clear the pallet homefree wise is to see their cover of "Blue ain't your color" cover. They are all dressed up and on best behavior, as well as good harmony wise.
Their videos seem to come in three versions: inspirational song on a mountaintop, serious or emotional song in an industrial space, or entirely off the hook.
And both of those videos have an add-on or sequel. All About That Bass outtakes and the Christmas song Full of Cheer. Tim wrote Champagne Taste and Full of Cheer.
Thank you so much for reacting to this.... I might have never seen it if you had not.... just never gave it a thought to watch before.... YOUR awesome, and they had SO MUCH FUN doing this..... :)
Maggie, this song came out in 2015, the same year Pentatonix got their first Grammy for their Daft Punk Medley. During the Baby Got Back segment Rob got a subtle jab in when he changed one line to"...we know Daft Punk was dubbed."
Just so you know most of the woman were wives and girlfriends. The other people were friends. They are so fun to watch. I've been to over 25 of there concerts and this medley is a blast.
What a way to start off a new year! My favorite acapella grout (Home Free) and my most favoritist (made up that word just for you) reactor! Thank you for this miss Maggie. In 2022 you should listen to a lot more of Home Free, Tim and Austin's rendition of "My Maria", anything Karen Carpenter (even drum solos), Righteous Brothers, The Everly Brothers and anything else your adorable little self desires! Great reaction, similar to mine the first time I saw this. And, finally, you are a real peach, just like your Icon at the end.
Let them croon to you in “Blue Ain’t Your Color!” Which was shortly after Adam “Chance” joined them. You’ll swear they were singing specifically to you!!!
Honestly, the topic aside, it's surely one of the best medleys I've ever heard - the transitions are so seamless I hardly notice the exact spots they are switching from one song to another. Brilliant. And so is your reaction, Maggie! Happy New Year 2022!
They had so much fun doing this! Bout time they let loose lol it’s a butts medley..makes sense they would be singing about butts lol Love your reaction 🎉 I love Home Free😊
Hey girl, loved your reaction to this. You have missed that side of Home Free on several of their videos. Note: the recordings are extremely great but videos are funny. I Swear Champagne taste on a bear budget. Please enjoy like I have the fun side of home free! With love / low bass Kenneth
Home Free was true to form in this one! Made me laugh which was needed after being a victim in a hit and run and driver vs. Good Samaritan helping out at an accident. Thank you for the laugh! What cracked me up was when Tim sang “how did she get those pants on” 🤣🤣🤣! You would love the playfulness of “grandma got run over by a reindeer” SOO CUTE, as you say!
They are comedians with awesome talent and love to have a good time just a bunch of good people! And they love having fun together I believe those are their wives and friends in the background
Maggie. They have such a fun side. You need to love it all. I thought sure you'd be doing their Ault Lang Syne cover today. It will reinstate your belief in them.
Maggie, awesome reaction as always, but I do have to say, I think you're incredible! Your smart, funny, so talented, and GORGEOUS!! Thanks for making my day every time you react.

Exactly. The butt shaking was all the boys. There were pretty ladies, but you never saw camera shots of their rear ends.
Yup. This was total self-deprecation. They are powerless and only emphasized their own patooties.
No offense taken whatsoever! Love it! 🤣
Models, all day. Had to be glad no one was demanding "be sexy".
They actually made it a point to not show ladies butts because they didn't want to be disrespectful towards women. And that dude with the overalls at the end, man, you just can't unsee that! 😂
That's Beugs, a good friend of Rob's and his podcast co-host for The Avid Indoorsmen, a very fun movie review show.
You can’t unsee it, but it’s a great reference to “Girl in a Country Song” song. Another secret message in the video. Lol.

cool...didn't know it was arranged by Layne..awesome.
I didn't realize that either. Makes sense though, Voiceplay's mashups are pure genius and they're usually arranged by either Layne or Geoff.

Just so you know most of the woman were wives and girlfriends. The other people were friends. They are so fun to watch. I've been to over 25 of there concerts and this medley is a blast.
This is hilarious! Everyone gets caught up in the subject matter but they kill the vocals and especially the transitions. Fire 🔥🔥🔥
What a fabulous way to start the new year. Your reaction...precious!
Did They just pot 5 songs together? Damn they are so good I love that they can do the light side of music have fun doing their job

Watching your reaction was almost more fun than the video itself. 🤣 This is one of my favorite of theirs. Rob is my spirit animal. 😁
Let them croon to you in “Blue Ain’t Your Color!” Which was shortly after Adam “Chance” joined them. You’ll swear they were singing specifically to you!!!
Ok, now you need to react to Blu Ain't Your Color and Brothers in Arms.
I Swear
Champagne taste on a bear budget.

I love home free they do serious songs , and they have a laugh with others 😅😆💙💚
Home Free was true to form in this one! Made me laugh which was needed after being a victim in a hit and run and driver vs. Good Samaritan helping out at an accident. Thank you for the laugh! What cracked me up was when Tim sang “how did she get those pants on” 🤣🤣🤣!
You would love the playfulness of “grandma got run over by a reindeer” SOO CUTE, as you say!

Since Chris Rupp is the baritone, I am surprised that you haven't seen this before.
They have heaps of original and covers funny songs. Champagne on a beer budget, grandma got run over by a raindeer.
Oh, Maggie! You have to react to Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer! That one is full of friends and family and is a masterpiece.
Throughout the entire video, watch exactly what Tim's doing.... Ham Sandwich, head banging and all.
You should watch them sing it live.😂
They are comedians with awesome talent and love to have a good time just a bunch of good people! And they love having fun together I believe those are their wives and friends in the background
Maggie. They have such a fun side. You need to love it all. I thought sure you'd be doing their Ault Lang Syne cover today. It will reinstate your belief in them.
Maggie, awesome reaction as always, but I do have to say, I think you're incredible! Your smart, funny, so talented, and GORGEOUS!! Thanks for making my day every time you react.
Yes they can be silly but the music is awesome. Never underestimate Home Free’s ability to make fun of themselves. Thanks for your reaction

Their cover of rascal flats "broken road" is wonderful.
