- Pablo arrives in British Ceylon from Burma to flee a traumatic relationship that had changed from love into passionate obsession. He notices a young pariah woman who empties his outhouse every morning. To Pablo she appears divine. In one morning, he takes her hand and leads her into his bed. Unable to believe or accept her bizarre fate, she remains passive throughout the series of events that unfold thereafter.

Happy to say I really enjoyed the trailer, as always another great work from Askoka Handagama. Outstanding cast , great script. But hate to say I was a little less enthused about the acting. Nevertheless great picture and a great storyline.

සිනමාව කියන්නේ යම් රාමුවක් තුල තිබිය යුතු දෙයක් නෙවෙයි. රාමුවෙන් පිටත සිතිය යුතු දෙයක්. යම්කිසි නිර්මාණයක් තුළ ඇති අර්ථය තේරුම් ගැනීමේ බුද්ධියක් තිබෙන පුද්ගලයන් මේ චිත්‍රපටය විවේචනයට ලක් කරන්නෙ නෑ. බුද්ධිමත් පුද්ගලයෙක් නම් හරි වැරැද්ද තේරුම් ගන්නවා මිසක්. අපේ හුගාක් නිර්මාණයන් තුල මම දැක්ක එක දෙයක් තමයි ඉන්දියාවෙන් ආනයනය කරගත් අදහස් එක්ක සිනමා නිර්මාණය කිරීම. නමුත් අපි අපේ විදිහට හිතන්න පුරුදු විය යුතුයි. වෙනස් නිර්මාණයන් ඇති කළ යුතුයි. මම මේ සිනමා නිර්මාණය වෙනසක් විදිහට දකිනවා. මෙය විවේචනයට ලක් කරන අයට කියන්න තියෙන්නේ, යම් දෙයක් හරි හෝ වැරදි වෙන්නෙ අපි දකින විදිහ අනුව මිසක් ඇත්තට එහි තිබෙන දෙය නිසා නොවෙයි. වෙනස්ව හිතුවොත් මිසක් අළුත් දෙයක් බලාපොරොත්තු විය නොහැකි. පෘථිවිය තැටියක් නෙවෙයි ගෝලාකාර කියලත් , දේවල් බිමට වැටෙන්නේ පොළොවේ ගුරුත්වය නිසා කියලා සොයා ගත්තෙත් වෙනස්ව හිතපු නිසයි. ලෝකය දියුණු වෙද්දී අපිත් ආකල්පමය වශයෙන් දියුණු විය යුතුයි. එහෙම අපේ බොහෝමයක් අය නොවෙන නිසා තමයි සිංගප්පූරුව වගේ අපිට යටින් සිටි රටවල් අපිව අභිබවා යද්දිත් අපි දශක ගණන් තාමත් දියුණු වෙමින් පවතින ජාතියක් වෙන්නේ. වෙනත් දේවල් තුල වෙනස්කම් දකින්න කලියෙන් මුලින්ම තමන් තුළ වෙනසක් දකින්න. දියුණුව ඉබේ ඇතිවේවි. ❤❤❤❤❤

All this seenibola non impactful movies being made with Sinhala actors about Sinhala stories, instead of improving that they bring foreigners to make a foreign movie.
Being an Indian, I loved Sinhala movies like Let her Cry, According to Matthew etc. They had such Strong Taboo Subjects. Why not make movies like these & release Hindi Dubbed versions on OTT. They can make Tons of Money. Even Unique movies like Sansare Dadakarya, which released years ago, isn't available to watch on any OTT platforms. Why not sell Digital Right 🤔 Why rot ur Movies rather than expanding their Audience reach 🤔

went to watch this movie at PVR Cinemas in Colombo. It was my utter disappointment that all scenes about the Sakkili woman were got rid of from the film. It completely ruined this masterpiece
