How many miles on your bike now, Noj? I had about 35,000 miles on mine before I did the bushing cleaning, And now, after an additional 12,000 miles, the squeak is back and I'll do the cleaning again. Perhaps I'll cram more grease in there than I did before. I agree with your statement that too much grease isn't and issue. Too much oil, on the other hand, can really cause problems.😉 16:29 -- watch those ankles! 😮
Your buddy was waiting for something to drop out to eat. I know that look. I would have packed some extra grease in there and then replaced the seals. Cant over do it in my opinion.
I used a q-tip to get all the dirt out and air pressure it worked great , then loads of water repellent grease.
Cheers for the comment 👍
The dog made me laugh! I could do with one like that to supervise my work!
I have 4k on my bike over winter. I expect I'll need to do this sometime soon. I saw "Cubby" Sue's video also.
Surprisingly easy to do 👍
And you're right, it's cubbysue - I must have made an assumption he's put on some weight 🤣
Great video, I wonder why or if it would be possible to add a grease fitting?
Having greased it, it's not an issue, and easy to do again if and when necessary 👍
