INSTALLING NEW SONY RADIO
I lucked out. I purchased a 2013 Camaro for my birthday and this kit was already installed with a touch screen , blue tooth, reverse camera , navigation etc . I've installed all of my own equipment in my older model cars and I was dreading doing this with an unfamiliar new model car - I'm so glad this is one thing i can check off my list.

Omg! This looks amazing I wanted this kit but at the time it was only a concept. I ended up retrofitting it with the 2015 navigation mylink system took a couple hrs but got it done. I wouldve bought this if it were available at the time

How much time does this typically take? I just bought the radiopro5 kit and a Bluetooth touchscreen stereo for my 2013 camaro and do i have to do any programming to get everything to function?
Please help. Behind the stock unit are 2 seperate cables. Which 1 is for the radio fm antena?
My 2012 camaro factory radio has SeriusXM. I buy a head unit that has XM, will the gm antenna plug in the car work?

I’ve installed this on my 2011 camaro but for some reason one of my speaker works only and rare 2 and front right doesn’t, I’m assuming I need a new interface?

So were you able to retian the steering wheels control or no. You never showed how you wired everything up. Bought mine but seem to have problems.
I believe everything still retained including the factory steering wheel controls. You might contact Pac audio if you are having any problems they have amazing tech support
Will this kit work with any head unit? Say a Sony XAV 8100 or an alpine ILX f509? Both models are floating screens.

how difficult was it to place the wiring behind the dash? which Sony radio did you buy?
I believe we used in xav 100 and the wiring fit great behind the radio
did you have to strip every individual wire from the kit and new radio?
We stripped the wires and crimp connected them

Where can I find the information on what kits fit a 2010 Camaro? I didn't see any listed in your discription.
i did some research, if you look up PAC double din 2010 camaro there’s one that should fit perfectly. there’s a video by Antares Cam showing it :)
Also what if I needed to hook up an amp and subwoofer?

Installed mine and now i have no were near the base that i used to. Acts like the factory amp isn't connected.

does the steering wheel work with sound and station switching? Original shit lost work :-(
I have this dash kit in my 2010 SS and I think I used a axxess steering wheel interface and all buttons on steering wheel work fine. Can change volume, change source, skip songs to next it go back just like original.
What double din radio was used?
Sony but they don't make that model anymore

@@hotb0ydaion6 they make multiple kits for this car and they do not make that particular radio anymore but they do make some that are similar but it would range anywhere from around $800 to 1,000 for the kit, radio, and installation

watched about 10 of these video (this is the best one by the way)...and i noticed ALL of them were camaro's with automatic transmition....what ever happened to getting a manual (like mine) for a muscle car??? automatic and muscle car do not belong together lol
