Why the little giant ladder is dangerous for fingers and toes

Little giant ladder smashed 2 of my toes. Was power washing on a roof so ladder and my hands were wet i released it and it started slipping so i let it go down from fully extended and forgot my foot was slightly under it. Yea shoulda had steal toes on but who power washed with steal toes on lol. Expected to make a full recovery smashed 2 toes pretty good though. This ladder could definitely take off some fingers it weighs 56 pounds!
