My JK BMS is also not working well, it can cross the 100% SOC reset point and does not push the counter to 100%. I have to play around with changing the Ah sizes to restart charging over and over again till it jumps to 100%. If the voltage drops belows that recovery point and then crosses 100% SOC setting then it should be 100% but it does not. And it can also drift each time I have not fully charged it. Finally the standby consumption feels quite huge cause each night when I make a discharging break for 5 hours or so to have enough energy in the morning to avoid expensive tibber morning hours I can watch the SOC going down. If it looses 2 or 3 % then it is an awfull lot considering that this would mean 10 % to 15% a day just for idle.

@@OffGridGarageAustralia I really don't know. I've played with Seplos 2.0 and 3.0. Kind of same quicks, but in the end, it works. A bit dumb how it communicates with the Invertor. Like when 1 cell in a pack has a warning, no other packs are charged. If all packs can handle 200A and 1 of 4 packs has a loose cable, the invertor thinks the other three can only handle 150A. Just dumb. But with the JK, yes, you don't need a seperate balancer. But on the other hand, sometimes the thing just stops. Stops charging, but also stops discharging. I can't have that uncertainty. At least with Seplos, if everything is well balanced, You get almost all power in your pack, and can use it if needed. If only, some company stepped up and made a sane device. It would even be better if JK would make the software opensource. The hardware seems OK, but maybe it's the hardware that makes the software crash/loop. For now if someone asks? I would say, the JKBMS is not such a bad choice any more.
I'd say "I don;t know"
@@mosfetkiller3851 16s = 16 cells in Series. 16 Cells in series with LiFePo4 cells gives 48V (give or take 10V). The BMS Andy bricks in this video is a 4s to 8s. To put 4 cells to 8 cells in series. (which gives a 12V or 24V pack)
Why not use 8S from your 16S test battery to test 8S BMS, why 4S?
It is a 4s to 8s BMS
NO FROGS!!!!! Sad…..
Any news on the v15.32 firmware yet
the 32 is online i have it on my bms but not the 33 or above
We're still testing and trying to find a good way to reset to 100%, so as many edge cases are included.
@@mosfetkiller3851 where did u get the v15.32 i have the 100a version i only see v15.30
@@OffGridGarageAustralia my inverter also have the same problem if the battery shows 100% the inverter shutsdown charging completely so i cant use the rcv and the rfv settings correctly or do balancing
Cool
🥇
Hi Andy, I can really imagine how you feel. Q: Will you continue on with you JKASS or will you give up (and stop wasting your lifetime...) ????
For now, it is stopped. If I get feedback and a solution from the company, I may get back to it
Chuck in the bin!!
As it showed every bluetooth device it also showed every firmware. I guess you flashed the wrong firmware, the second line could be the right as the naming convention was a little different. Bravo JKESS for not checking if it is the right firmware for the right device
Andy why don't they send these devices to you prior to release to general public so you can test them to destruction I got no doubt you are the person to find any fault with the device and the apps also Andy how to go with the plasterboard did you get the glue for the studs all the best there buddy from sunny South Australia
They want to sell fast, I guess, and just hope it works and I show the success on the channel. They should know me by now😋
The 2nd BMS was already on 24.10.24 before tge upgrade attempt. The app made no attempt to let you know it was the same version. I guess, had it succeeded, it still wouldn't be functional.
I don't hink the app works correctly as it still shows 24.10.24, even without a BMS connected.
If it quacks like a duck..
Jikon are lying, I had insider information about this new BMS software in development, when we were discussing, User access and Admin acess option, especially about the Level 1, 2, and 3 Password..
I have a preview of the same software you opened.
Please keep us updated.
bitte, wir brauchen ein Video über die Einstellungen von Felicity BMS
I would just not waste time on the JKESS BMS, focusing on the inverter 14 and 15 would be better spent time.
Yeah, at the moment it's back in its box.
If it Quacks like a duck....walks like a duck...then it's a ....dog?
Yes 🦆
But what if you use a well knowed brand and found it sh1t . Im talking about Daly bms the 300A ones . i have 2 and 1 never started up and the second one broke down after 6 months with an memorychip defect . Because of your videos ive switched to JK bms and it keeps working perfect . i also have the JK balancer (seperated one , no BMS) and keeps working fine for some years now. Home bank is 23S x 10P LTO Yinglong 66160 45Ah cells with an all in one 48v offgrid solar inverter with grid input .
Why don't you just plug it in directly?
Plugin to where???
Me vendieron una bateria con bms tdt, no traia ni folleto de configuracion. Desoues de tres años no tuve comunicacion postventa de comerciales chinos
"cooooome on fakeJK!"
What a mess...😂😂
Maybe it is a dodgyanufactire and they couldn't gut it to function. Sent it to the OGG so they could get free expert trouble shooting. Hypothetically it is from who it purports to be and sent for free expert assessment - but they couldnt make it work so have canned/ disowned it !
Malakia
This is what happens when you don't invest into proper "Intellectual Property Rights", JK could sue for breach of TM if they had a proper TM registraton
JIKONG only makes the BMS, the company who owns the JKBMS name is als the one selling this JKEES BMS😄
If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.
If JK doesn't want their brand confused, then they shouldn't sell something with their brand name on it, on their website.
It's a lesson that it doesn't matter who made it, if your name is on the product, then you're responsible for it.
JIKONG is not selling outside of China. The seller on Ali who sent this BMS is not JIKONG (the manufacturer of the JKBMS).
This is not the manufacturer: www.jkbms.net/home
Ha ha, it would appear the Chinese are copying the Chinese!
